This is a pig who spent years confined in a gestation crate. She was left behind when factory farms flooded in Iowa and then rescued by some volunteers. The volunteers took her home and dug her a mud pit. She ignored it. They assumed years of confinement had extinguished her natural instincts. Then they noticed her wandering into the woods on their property. They followed her — and found her rooting in a pile of dirt, digging her own mud pit. The pork industry claims pigs adapt to confinement. They don't. Inside every gestation crate is an animal who still yearns to root, wallow, and just be a pig. This is the tragedy of factory farming. We tried to reduce feeling animals to machines. We failed.

@Reframe_Reality @Lewis_Bollard As a former vegetarian who now eats mainly raw milk, soy-free eggs, and regenerative grass-fed (and finished) cow, I delight in converting vegetarian and vegan friends by arguing the philosophy of veganism is a well-intended but ill-thought out reaction to factory farming.

In 1951 he founded Pergamon Press, which launched hundreds of niche scientific journals - each a tiny monopoly in its field, demanding expensive subscriptions Overnight, freely available public-domain scientific knowledge became gated behind high costs, accessible only to an “intellectually elite” class… the new “intelligentsia” He called this setup “a perpetual financing machine.” and it became the template for the entire industry today. This commercial monopoly on science extracts free labor from scientists, who work tirelessly to write papers, review work and edit manuscripts to further their career prospects - all at no cost, The profit margins for scientific journals far exceed almost every other industry. The top publisher’s margins are higher than Google and Apple. Elsevier, for example, brought in ~ $1.4 billion profit in 2024 alone. This is a huge business which artificially inflates the cost of knowledge dissemination - that is ironically funded in large part by the taxpayer. Unfortunately the entire business model incentivises VOLUME over QUALITY: Careers, grants, and promotions tie to publication count in "prestigious" (high-fee) journals. This means that researchers are penalized for publishing less, and are instead rewarded for pumping out high quantity with little inherent value. In other words, there are tangible benefits to publishing junk science, manipulated data and fabrication. This model disincentivizes and actively punishes genuine scientific curiosity, independent thinking, long-term/risky work, and controversial opinions or lines of research which challenge established dogma. It breeds authoritarian, conformist, self-censoring scientists who are averse to risk. Furthermore, it laid the foundation for a gated elite class of “intelligentsia”. Only those in the “club” at wealthy scientific institutions, who tow the party line, are granted access to scientific knowledge. Those who stray too far from the norm are shunned and expelled. The ultimate result? A bloated, generic mess of low-rigor, irreproducible papers This model, which still dominates to this day, facilitated the corporatization and weaponization of of science What began as a relentless pursuit for truth was coopted and sacrificed for endless greed & elite control of knowledge itself

Candace FINALLY touched on the MK Ultra point I’ve been talking about in regards to Erika Kirk. I’ve been saying for some time that Erika’s *glitches* raises red flags because it comes off like she doesn’t even know she’s lying. And then when you consider the fact that she was at Regis University in Colorado, played basketball for two years and then all of a sudden ends up at Arizona State University. The same Arizona State University that’s just a couple of hours away from Fort Huachuca, the largest US Military intel in the country. Although the “official” unclassified documents don’t list Fort Huachuca as officially involved in MK Ultra, you’d have to be a fool to believe that the largest intel base that specifically engages in counterintelligence and information warfare wasn’t involved in MK Ultra. I’d be willing to bet that it was specifically left out BECAUSE of how involved the base was. We already see how the most damning evidence in the Epstein files is being hidden from us. This is a consistent theme when it comes to the US attempting to shield itself from accountability for the crimes against humanity it commits. The US almost never ends programs like MK Ultra. They rebrand them and relocate them. If any of this is remotely true about Erika. Then this all goes FAR deeper than just Erika Kirk. And it requires much deeper investigation.
