Lee Kinyanjui,PS Trade Regina Ombam, PS Tourism John Ololtuaa and Ms. Floice Mukabana, the CEO of Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency (KEPROBA).The objective of the dinner was to explore ways in which individual professionals and community groups can systematically leverage on their local connections, market insights and distribution channels to bolster Kenyan exports. Moreover, we delved into possible ways to deepen trade, tourism and investment ties through our networks. As his parting shot, the Cabinet Secretary did call upon Kenyans in Japan to act as brand ambassadors by promoting Kenya's tourism and investment opportunities.

The sector currently supports over 200,000 smallholder farmers and provides 30,000 jobs through 40 operational processing facilities. To unlock the full potential of this high-value crop, the government is implementing strategic measures aimed at boosting productivity, reducing production costs, and enhancing value addition. These efforts are designed to ensure sustainable growth and better returns for farmers. A major step in this direction is the development of the Embu County Aggregation and Industrial Park.
