Breaking: World Lacrosse has announced it has added Armenia as its 93rd member. Armenia will be part of the European Lacrosse Federation, which now has 36 members. World Lacrosse has now added 20 new members since 2022.

@iamneilbarrett The only reason I remember Kevin Rice being in the Canada tryout squad was because I personally wanted him to play at the 2018 World Championship so I could see him play. He would've got a game with The Fighting Pastries from Denmark for sure

@JNRobbo But this was completely different from not even getting an invite to try out in either the original 59 names invited or the 12 that were later invited to try out for Team USA. I don't know that he WOULD have made the US team, but not getting tryout was insane.

For me, Kevin Rice is the greatest "what if" in lacrosse, a 🧵. Despite leading Cuse to an ACC Tournament Championship, winning the Turnball Award (over Lyle Thompson), being 1st team AA, & being named a Tewaaraton Finalist, he fell to the 4th round of the 2015 MLL Draft.

Even after overcoming all that to become one of the best players in the MLL at the time, Rice wasn't one of the 71 players invited to try out for the 2018 USA Lacrosse team that would go to Isreal for the FIL World Championships.

@ConnorWilsonLAS The international growth part is something I couldn't agree more on. About 60 of the 90 something World Lacrosse member nations have no lacrosse actually happening within their national borders, most being solely run in the good ol' US of A. It's a bad look

On Tuesday I received the phone call I knew would come one day, but never expected would come so soon - dad only had hours left to live. I jumped on a plane as quick as possible but didn't make it. Our father had passed away after a few tough weeks in hospital. We are heartbroken
