15 year ago my first event…in those days they hand wrote the certificate. I was visiting our Poona office and read a newspaper article 4 days before the run. Asked my Bombay office folks to help get me a registration. They came back saying registrations closed. I wanted to run the marathon…as luck would have it my friend @DrContractor (thank you) was the medical director of the race. I requested him to get me a bib to run the marathon…he asked me about my training & running past…I had none this was my first event…he then refused the full but on my insistence gave me the bib to run a half…crossing the finish line was one of my happiest moments…I couldn’t walk properly for the next few days…but the bug bit me…now it’s been over 400 events My brother @mehrabnargol too ran the race with me…he hasn’t continued #Running #marathon #fitnessaddict

Today’s half marathon was different…a no gadgets run…you are not allowed to wear a watch or carry a phone basically nothing…you have to predict the finish time in advance and the finisher closest to their prediction wins. Considering the heat & oppressive humidity I gave a time of 2.30 & finished around 2.32. Fingers crossed 🤞 till the results are out #runner #running #Fitnessaddict #SundayMorning

@AkasaAir just spent 30 mins with customer service to learn there are only early morning flights from Bangalore to Delhi that allow pets. How do I get a vet to sedate my cat at 4am to make a fight at 8? What’s the point in offering this service if you can’t do it properly?
