So many comments here thinking a rollback will affect their precious 10 rounds a year. Nobody is changing the weekend golfers ball. This is simply for the professional level. The chairman is spot on when he says the game has become too one dimensional.

@KVanValkenburg Couple thousand pros are a fraction of the game. The average golfer can’t hit it 200. Loosing 10 yards will move them two clubs back in approach and make the game harder and less fun. The game will suffer and shrink.
