@DesireeAmerica4 Life expectancy at birth is 79. Life expectancy at 62 is 83 or 86, depending on whether you're male or female.
That means more than half the population will live beyond 82.
The biggest gamble of your life? Social Security.
The system tells you to wait.
Take it at 62: $1,800/mo.
Wait till 70: $3,000/mo.
Sounds like a no-brainer, right? Run the math.
To actually profit from waiting, you have to live past 82.
The average US life expectancy? 79.
With the garbage in our food and the stress we carry today, making it to 82 is a massive bet.
Are you taking the money at 62 and running, or holding out for the bigger check?
@Eggmann1a@NobodymrRobert@baker_girlie Pre-drilling prevents the rafter from splitting. If you're shooting for perfection, that's the way to go. If you're just looking for speed, there are other ways to do it.
@NobodymrRobert@baker_girlie Drilled then nailed? Why not just use a step drill and lag or deck screw at that point? Be a damn sight stronger and take about the same time.
These guys are pathetic.
Joe Kent, my producer cannot find your number. He’s contacted you several times via the Internet. I’d like to interview you on radio about several things. You don’t get to tell me where and how to conduct an interview. We don’t have your number.
So I’ll take your obfuscations as a no.
@TheLaurenChen I once rented a cottage with my Dad, his gf, & her daughter. She was probably 350 lbs. I noticed she ate very little. We all went out one day w/o the daughter & while we were out, she ate an entire pound of hamburger & most of the buns we were supposed to have for dinner.
At one point in college, I had an obese roommate.
After a few weeks, she complained about how lucky I was to be thin, since I ate more than her.
The thing is, however, that I absolutely did not eat more than her, in terms of calories or just amount of food.
She put ranch on everything. 600 calorie drinks. Endless snacking.
Maybe my plate was more full than hers at dinner, but it was obvious tp everyone but her that she was consuming more throughout the day.
I'm sorry, but after multiple instances of this happening with other overweight people, I just don't trust when someone heavy insists they're in caloric deficit.
Maybe some people lose weight faster than others. For sure. But it's simple science that if calories out exceed calories in, you WILL lose weight.
@EqFundDotcom@HustleBitch_ I'm in Canada, so we don't have the same stores as you. The stuff I buy on a regular basis is cheaper at Costco. My diet is pretty limited because I don't eat junk food or most processed food, but I'm a conscientious shopper, and it's the best place for most of the stuff I buy.
I used to think the same. But while shopping for 4 sons as a single alone full time Father, it soon became clear that its one of the more expensive Grocery stores. If looking at full price, Costco is great. But if you work the sales, stores like Fred Meyer are 15% less. Costco has better value on steak but not cheaper when taking advantage of sales. Somethings are a better deal. Like Guacamole, frozen berries and a few others. But if items aren't on sale at Costco, which are very few, no way. Do the math per Oz and you will see. The packaging is different so you it takes a little memory or writing it down.
🚨 COSTCO CEO JUST ATE HIS OWN PRODUCT ON CAMERA — THEN SAID SOMETHING NOBODY EXPECTED
Costco’s CEO Ron Vachris just sat down and did the “CEO eats his own product” test… and went straight for the $1.50 hot dog combo.
Then he says it: the price isn’t changing.
No increase. No timeline. No “we’ll revisit.”
In 2026… while food prices keep climbing… this one thing is locked in place.
First the McDonald’s CEO goes viral eating his own $12 "product."
Now the Costco CEO eats a $1.50 hot dog.
Same move… completely different message.
Which one actually feels more real to you?
Costco keeping the $1.50 hot dog + soda combo sacred since 1985 is legendary loss-leader strategy. Drives foot traffic, renewals, and loyalty like nothing else. Vachris eating it on camera and doubling down feels authentic. McD's $12 vibe just can't compete on value perception. Respect.
@HustleBitch_ People should really analyze the price per unit when buying at Costco. Most things not on sale are not that great of a deal when compared to items on sale at other stores. That said, their loss leaders are great deals.
@micah68wellness@HustleBitch_ $1.50/hotdog is $18/doz. Do you think their cost on weiners and buns is anything close to $18? They're still making money even at $1.50.
@JakeCan72 Levin has exhibited obsessively fixated stalking-behaviors towards @megynkelly for months and she fires back one shot. Get a hold of yourself, grifter.
The President of the United States got on Truth Social to referee a conservative media feud.
Mark Levin called Megyn Kelly emotionally unhinged, petulant, and toxic on X.
Kelly’s response was so unhinged Trump stepped in personally, reminding America of his nickname “The Great One.”
“Mark Levin is a truly great American patriot… They are not MAGA. I am.”
Emily Austin’s verdict: Kelly used to be one of the most respected names in conservative media.
Delete the app, Megyn. @megynkelly
@FoodProfessor Which food retailers are operating on 10-15% margins? None.
Loblaws operates on a profit margin of less than 4%. If they made zero profit, it would reduce your $100 grocery bill to $96. Our problem isn't a lack of competition or predatory pricing.
@Liz_Wheeler "We in the conservative movement—especially in the media—are supposed to be thought leaders."
True leaders disagree - often. There is no one way forward in the real world. Who doesn't disagree? Followers, minions, slaves, worker bees, drones etc.
See the distinction?
These podcast wars are embarrassing.
Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro, Candace Owens...
What are we, toxic mean girls in high school?
These vulgar ad hominems being hurled back and forth by leaders of the conservative movement…I still have absolutely no idea what they're talking about.
They never mention the substance on which they disagree.
We in the conservative movement—especially in the media—are supposed to be thought leaders.
And when you’re a thought leader, you are supposed to persuade people about why your position is best.
That's your job.
That's my job.
We are supposed to challenge and dismantle ideas that are bad, dangerous, and wrong.
But is that what we're doing?
No, that's not what we're seeing here.
The biggest voices on the Right are acting like a nasty episode of Real Housewives.
What’s next?
Pulling hair extensions and scratching?
This is not the highest and best use of our platforms, voices, and this influence that we have been afforded.
The midterms are around the corner and the only group being helped by these petty, superficial, juvenile spats are the Democrats.
We are facing an ACTUAL crisis in our nation that everyone is ignoring because they're addicted to drama. We have ONE CHANCE at mass deportations. ONE CHANCE. And we're squandering it because the leaders of the movement would rather… beef?
Kumail Nanjiani, raised Muslim, gets up on that Oscar stage last night, cracks two harmless little jokes about shortening movies. “It’s A Wonderful Life” becomes “It’s A Wonderful Month,” “The King’s Speech” turns into “The King’s Tweet.” Cute, right? Everyone chuckles. Then he slides in the third: “Schindler’s List” to “Schindler’s Post-It.”
See what he did? The first two were just fluff…safe, silly, no harm. They were the warm-up act, the cover. Made the room feel cozy so he could drop the real bomb without anyone flinching too hard. Because once you’re laughing at a jester’s joke, why not laugh at six million dead Jews reduced to office supplies? He could have said “Gone With the Wind” to “Gone With the Breeze!” But that wasn’t in his agenda.
That was a calculated jab at Jewish pain. It’s vile. They’ve done this forever…hide the knife behind a smile…and they’ll keep doing it. Jew-hating monsters in nice suits (Mamdani). I call it like I see it!
