@simonyemane I think so too but as always a long season (esp with our injury luck). Wouldn't be surprised to see all three with porro inverting in possession at times too. All in all my overall thoughts are it will be more fun hopefully lol

@JPascavitz Fair lol and van Hecke and VDV would be our most common pairing

I rate Van Hecke on and off the ball. His one weakness is the same as Senesi’s: neither is especially quick, which is why I’d want them playing together as little as possible. But paired with Danso and VDV, I’d say it’s a pretty a balanced foursome.

@NOMOREBADSTATS Tbh I wouldn't mind a punt on Tzolis either. Gives me Tel/Sonny vibes but Idk if he'll be able to make the step up. Maybe some of his value will be retained due to his age vs someone like Wilson

Good to see that the recruitment strategy has changed not one bit, except Johnson had the benefit of a Europa league winner + age on his side. Adding yet another finisher of actions rather than a generative winger is just a complete misdiagnosis of the issues.

@NOMOREBADSTATS If you had to choose two wingers for spurs who would you land on? I think the club is having problems because for game 1 I'm seeing Kudus, Kulu, Xavi, Odobert all could be still out - I think it's causing them to target a winger and someone that can cover WF/AM due to Maddison

Furthermore, any search that lands you on Harry Wilson and Savinho as options almost definitely has 0 drawn up thinking whatsoever.

@fc_mossman The biggest question in my mind as a Spurs fan is... better off on right wing or left wing? Read a lot that he was really good off of the left at Girona but he's had comments + time at City played off of the right. Think you'll see the best of him with consistent game time

Spurs fans turning their noses up at Savio is insane to me. If he was a 20 y/o coming from Spain w/ 19 G+A and 3 dribbles won p90 it would be “aww so sweet” but now that he’s worked for two years under, and made 84 appearances for Pep Guardiola it’s “hello HR??”

what a guy. that night in madrid would’ve buried a lot of players, especially that young. he stood back up, took every bit of it on the chin and kept going. mentality like that is rare. all season he’s wanted to prove himself and he’s done exactly that.

@NathanAClark I would be fine with Robertson if I trusted Udogie playing 95 percent of the games. Maybe we'll get lucky. Top of my list would be Raum. Captain at times of RB Leipzig, believe only 1 year left on his deal, could compete/overtake Udogie for LB spot

@AlasdairGold I haven't seen too much talk about how Gray has been completely swept aside under De Zerbi. Not saying that it is right or wrong - just interesting to see after Gray has played so much over the past 2 seasons.
