Why should anyone be forced to pay property taxes. The state doesn’t buy the house you did. You bought the home, improved it, put a mortgage on it and paid for it. The state collects sales taxes & business taxes to fund services. Imagine the 70 year old who owns a home today valued at $2M - they bought 30 years ago for $50,000, maintained the house for 30 years and finally paid the house off - Why should they or their heirs pay any tax much less on the increased value? They will say, “who’s going to support the roads, police, fire department and schools? Sales tax & local businesses can support those things. For those who support property taxes understand you open the door for the state to collect taxes on ALL property; boats, cars, clothes, art, bicycles, gym equipment, grills, tools, silverware, jet skis, stocks, retirement accounts - everything. 27 states reassess annually, and the rest, do so every 3 years OR lie California, any time you improve the property! It’s brutal and it’s endless! If you support property taxes on personal property you are either; a) a communist b) confused c) academic d) free loader End Property Taxes!

Time for the US Navy As expected, these negotiations didn’t go anywhere as Iran’s new leadership is not ready to change its behavior of seeking a nuclear weapon, terrorizing its neighbors, or giving up the Straight of Hormuz. The VP got to see that first hand. Iran never honored even its basic commitment to open up the Straight for two weeks and instead continues to lead with defiance of the most basic international laws of the sea. The president cannot and will not let this stand. Now after the air force operated superbly it’s the turn of the Navy to enforce a blockade and shut down the Iranian toll booth and strangle its economy. They will be tested. Remember the US is not dependent on the Straight and is a net exporter of oil and tankers are on the way to the US now as an alternative source. It is time for the Europeans to join this effort as once again the US is helping them while they appear to be willing to pay Iran rather than confront them. There is no turning back now from the strategy of forcing Iran to give up its ambitions and Iran obviously does not want the US to resume its air campaign so we will wait to see how they react to the US clearly having a plan here in response to their intransigence. The US has been moving in the resources to take over the Straight and is going to flip the script on Iran and continue step by step to continue maximum pressure against it. And the midterms are almost 7 months away so enough of the talk about this as though it is tomorrow. The President is undertaking a world-changing effort to end the global threat of nuclear terrorism and he is not turning back but continuing his policy of offering an olive branch in one hand while holding all the arrows in the other.
