Kevin Garnett goes off after hearing Joel Embiid’s decision to sit out of back-to-backs:
“82 games, man, this is what the fu***** job calls for.”

@iiTzTimmy @Genburten That sucks man… these visa issues are absolutely brutal man. I hope it can somehow go through last minute.
English

DOJO is looking for a sub for the 1st BLGS due to @Genburten not having his visa in time. DM or comment if interested!
English

@ImMadnessTV But BLGS doesn’t even start till the 15th? I feel like it will be good.

@HisWattson The district end games in scrims were so amazing. So much viable cover

There's usually a large disconnect between Pros and Casuals on which maps are better, so I wanted to explain why Pros almost unanimously hate Olympus.
1. Olympus has the most "dead space" of any map. Most of the map is unplayable if more than 1 team can see you. Most fights start with 1 team having a clear advantage due to terrain difference.
2. Buildings have very little cover. The buildings on Olympus have very little cover inside them which makes fights in them very predictable. Most of the time I just avoid holding buildings as almost every room is designed to be heavily attacker sided. Playing a building usually involves just playing the rooftop. Most rooftops also have very long sightlines from multiple angles that can see them which make them also unplayable if more than 1 team is in the area. Inside = unplayable | Roof = often unplayable | This makes for a very very aggro map that leads to low quality endgames and low teams alive in early rounds.
3. Least amount of "stuff." This sounds kind of weird, but Olympus is just very empty. It is aesthetically pleasing but at the cost of making it a baron wasteland. The simplest way I can describe why pros don't like how this feels is this: More stuff = More variables. More Variables = more things that can be leveraged to beat a weaker opponent. Pros win by being better at a bunch of little things "on average." They're essentially playing with weighted dice, so the more dice rolls that occur, the more likely they are to win. Less stuff = less dice rolls you can make.
3.1. I've noticed weaker players tend to prefer Olympus. My theory is just the inverse of what I typed above. If you are a below average player, it is in your benefit to have less dice rolls because it makes you more likely to win. Like I said though, the map is very aesthetically pleasing so if you only play occasionally I could see it being your favorite just off that. But that definitely doesn't make it a "better map" in a competitive sense.
4. It is clear which maps are designed for pubs (Broken Moon, Olympus) and which maps are designed for competitive (storm point, e-district). Pub maps generally try to give the attacker the advantage at all times while Comp maps look to give both the attacker and defender multiple options. I agree that both types of maps are good ofc, but this is generally why you see pros constantly complaining about Olympus and why pub players constantly complain about Storm Point. Every map is designed with different things in mind and problems tend to arise when a map is put in a game mode it wasn't designed for.

Olympus is the worst competitive map in Apex Legends

@ToneDante @bluegeorgia @StephenKing I see you made up a quote to deal with a hard truth you didn't want to accept. I guess that's an option...

@devilslayerr_ @JakeSucky Timmy accidentally leaked it when they were about to tell him, they didn’t wanna tell him on his bday.
English

@JakeSucky Imagine if Timmy didn’t say anything though. He wouldn’t be on a team.
Bunch of excuses. Couldn’t tell the guy the most important news lol.
English

@ArakariYT Yeah because who knows. There’s always something we don’t know with these scenarios.
It sounds like everyone made the best choice they thought in the moment with the information they had.
English

@JPugoey Tbf, nobody cares, is the point that should be made. Regardless of what someone does in th spotlight, it's gonna look shitty to one person, and great to another, while the other 80% have no clue or context behind what went down. It's all drama at this point.
English

Bro said "I joined Falcons and got hate."
It's not because you left TSM. It's not because you joined the SuperTeam. It's not because you placed 2nd in EWC.
Literally all the hate is stemming from the whole Genburten Situation.
At least, that's my two cents.
Falcons ImperialHal@ImperialHal
I’ve been getting the most hate I’ve ever had in my career ever since joining Falcons with a lot of other reasons along the way and the last time that happened was right before ALGS NA Split 1 Playoffs 2022 and we know what happened then . See you at Champs everyone :)

@buddytrevs @ReedzFPS Dezign has a champs spot bc bronzey stuck with him even though enemy and timmy left.
English

@SeattleFanGZ @ChrisNowinski1 Yeah, you can when it’s this horrible. Clear that he’s trying to hurt him more so idk what’s controversial about this.
English

@ChrisNowinski1 Refs should’ve blown the whistle, can’t blame someone for finishing a play
English

@ChrisNowinski1 Yeah this is totally uncool. Some barbarians actually think this is real football. The game has evolved and we no longer want players to be brain dead at 50… time to penalize this with suspension and heavy fines
