@blackAFstenius @MelissaReddy_ Transitional season? No one inside the club was saying that in August. They were talking about dominance. They've rewritten the narrative to protect him from his litany of failures this season

@MelissaReddy_ Crazy how a coach who has won them a premier league and got them to the champions league places in a transitional season is viewed by his fanbase

Arne Slot is a Premier League title winner, yes, but the conditions for that triumph have disappeared. There are mitigations, yes, but Liverpool are no longer a team to fear, they are deferential, and obliging to the most embattled of sides. It’s not just the style of play that is unrecognisable, but what the team stands for, and how they are seen… bymelissareddy.substack.com/p/arne-slot-is…

@dame_world @MelissaReddy_ If you read the article it says at the start of the season the words transition and process weren't being used. People inside the club were talking about dominance about how last summer would never be repeated. The entire narrative has been rewritten to protect this manager.

How do you guys actually view this sport? How do you expect a team in transition to rock up every week/weekend to play high intensity and entertaining football? I am not slot in/out but regardless of the coach, this is a process a team rebuilding has to pass through. You can’t cheat the process. If the title winner is determined by the amount a team spends in a transfer window, Chelsea and United will be competing every season, but they aren’t. Let’s get the old heads out, bring in fresh young talents and we can start talking about playing good football or playing with high intensity

@Uzoma195 @AnfieldSector There's a time and a place for this comment, here and now certainly isn't it. At least try and be respectful. Football isn't everything.

Liverpool FC has today revealed images of the new permanent memorial at Anfield in tribute to Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva, following their tragic passing last July.

@AnfieldSector Players like Rio are gonna burn out so fast if clubs are forced to play them every game. Arteta has overplayed Saka massively and now look at him.

Sources said the idea was raised on Monday night at a meeting with the six confederation presidents, and was given positive backing during the Fifa Council meeting on Tuesday. “We want to help young players develop and promote homegrown players, and there are many examples of clubs just buying in established stars instead of giving academy players a proper chance,” one insider told The Times. “There may be considerable opposition but we need to hear from all parts of the game and then this can be taken into account for any proposal that is put forward.”

[🟢] NEW: All clubs would be required to have at least one homegrown under-21 player on the pitch at all times under a radical plan being considered by Fifa. Fifa’s idea, which could even apply to U20 players instead of U21, would have a potentially seismic impact on clubs’ transfer policy, team selections and even on coaches’ decisions on which players to substitute. Liverpool have included an English U21 player in just two of their Premier League starting line-ups this season. [@martynziegler] thetimes.com/sport/football…

@CountBiffa @EssexPR They were arrested on the 23/07 the story broke after the leak on the 02/08 and their has quite obviously been a cover attempt as councillors have already gone on the defensive claiming ignorance

@JR197512 @EssexPR Wrong. The two Afghans were named on the days they were charged, which is what usually happens. It's been handled exactly how most prosecutions are handled. The dickhead press are trying to manufacture stories again. Claiming 'cover ups' because they know people won't check.

@CountBiffa @EssexPR These 12 men were named publicly within a week of their arrest. The two Afghans weren't named until someone was so angered by the attempted cover up happening they leaked it to the press Police and government covering up and protecting foreign rapists AGAIN. That's the difference

“It’s important to note that, in Britain, the bureaucrats control all the numbers. They decide what is fact and what is fiction. Now of course they can be challenged by Ministers; but this uses up huge bandwidth and, ultimately, the bureaucrats’ word goes. The Government Statistical Service provides an extra layer of defence for officials who don’t want to produce numbers. Thus, numbers relating to crucial areas such as immigration and GDP are systemically incorrect, yet the fallout rebounds on Ministers. Data is often not readily available, and certainly not the kind of payment-level data that Elon Musk has been demanding in the U.S. for his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Constant excuses are offered, including “operational independence” and “data protection”, that always serve to prevent transparency.” @trussliz @CourageMedia___

This platform provides a clear and immediate way to refute anything false in the replies and with @CommunityNotes. The same is not true for legacy media who lie relentlessly, but there is no way to counter their propaganda.
Konstantin Kisin@KonstantinKisin

So much focus from the British commentariat on X and Elon Musk and it's true that there were irresponsible people posting unverified allegations here. As there were on all other social media. But looking at media reporting, if it wasn't for X, we wouldn't even know that gangs of armed & masked Muslim men are rampaging through cities up and down the country. We wouldn't see them hunting down and beating up white people. We wouldn't have yet more evidence of two tier policing. All we would have is the approved narrative. You can see this with all the screaming about misinformation. When the founder of far left doxxing organisation Hope Not Hate posts misinformation about Muslims being targeted with acid which is completely false and obviously provocative, they just pretend it didn't happen. Like it or not, human beings invented mass communication platforms. They aren't going away. Governments and legacy media want to crack down on them to re-establish narrative control. I can understand why but it's not going to happen. Social media still needs a lot of work and things like Community Notes are an important first step in the right direction. We desperately need tools to counteract the fact that false but provocative spreads a lot faster than true but boring. That's human brains for you. It will take a lot of smart people like Elon to work out how to solve this problem in the era of mass communication. But we're not going back to governments and the media being in charge of what's true. Politicians and journalists are the two least trusted groups in society for a reason.

This is what is happening in the UK right now -Government opens the borders and lets in illegal aliens -Illegals start committing violent crime, murders, rape, etc in British communities -Government does nothing to stop the criminal illegals -British citizens take matters into their own hands and attack the illegals because their government won’t do anything -Government declares British citizens that attack illegals are domestic terrorists and starts raiding their homes and arresting them for protecting their communities Sound familiar? The term ‘far right’ is a cheap buzz word that dehumanises people with genuine concerns. Rather than solve the problem it radicalises individuals to commit insane reprehensible acts of criminality. Condemn the violence and address the grievances. You can do both. #riots #nigelfarage @reformparty_uk
