The U.S. controls billions in revenue from Venezuelan oil sales, but public records do not show how much reached Venezuela, where it was spent or how much remains.

Attention anyone who read the NYT bestseller PROOF OF CONSPIRACY seven years ago: the news has finally caught up to that book. nytimes.com/2026/07/21/us/…

@ScottDog6 @PeteButtigieg Using the word cupcake tells me a bit about you. You are probably proud.

@vancleefg1 @4HumanUnity Both are important but Reichstag most commonly recognized name. The Reichstag fire gave Hitler strong authoritarian power, Danzig corridor related to part of Treaty of Versailles ill received. (to keep simple and short. Thank you for input.)

I wouldn't put it past Trump to fake an act of terror in the US by Iran as he runs out of options to steal the November election.
He'd then use that as a pretext to try to cancel or federalize the coming elections. Just can't put it past him.

@ScottDog6 @PeteButtigieg And unfortunately I don’t think he should run for president because there are too many people like you, but hopefully he goes back on the Cabinet.
English

@ScottDog6 @PeteButtigieg Nope. He has military experience which shows pragmatic assessment of issues, is well spoken and knowledgeable, brings the temperature down in interviews, is pleasant, cares about the country, doesn’t seek revenge, has no apparent financial grift interests.
English

@HQNewsNow He only looks at his pocketbook and his stocks. Those are doing well.

@KingTideMedia0 And a critical area of investigation by the Trump family too. They appear to drive some Trump decisions re: foreign countries.

@sacbee_news @sahilkapur So sad and disappointing. I appreciated her white boards - short and to the point. I had high hopes but unfortunately trust many stories about her. Our society is hungry for mutual respect of others and apparently she can’t model that.

The intelligence community – in the very documents Trump himself declassified – assessed that one of the most damaging things a foreign adversary could do would be to falsely convince the American people that their elections had been rigged.
The person who has attempted to do exactly that — over and over, for nearly six years, and most dramatically on Thursday night — is Donald Trump, who, contrary to the very evidence he himself presented, tried to tell millions of Americans that foreign powers had corrupted an election. Specifically, the one election he lost.

No tax on tips. No tax on overtime. No tax on Social Security. Except: all taxed with narrow carve-outs, and all of it expires end of 2028. The one part of the tax bill that doesn't expire? Tax cuts for the wealthy. Those are permanent. Populism with an asterisk. newsletter.platypuseconomics.com/p/justin-answe…

@OccupyDemocrats Sounds like an attack on disabled Americans. This administration has worked harder to suppress the midterm vote than it has to accomplish anything for the American people. Why is the federal government interfering in State ran elections? Do we no longer believe in states rights?
