@AbudBakri Maybe…in general I agree. You need a more complete picture 💯. Thought experiment, In this case is it possible that their insulin sensitivity improved, avg BG improved, RBCs lifespan increased showing higher A1c with longer glycation window that will come down over time?

Some of these lab testing companies are absolute scam artist misleading patients I had a patient celebrating that his fasting insulin went down. It was elevated but now in range. This was despite his a1c going up.. signaling his diabetes was getting worse and his pancreas was failing to produce enoigh insulin! This was worsening of his diabetes But the fasting insulin is getting better right?? No. One lab alone is useless Labs have to be seen in a greater picture and clinical situation

@rorynotsorry It’s not that simple. Each peptide will be different and may be different. Solution used to reconstitute matters. The peptide, buffer salts, preservatives, excipients all matter because of transient local extremes. Longer the chain, the more potential issues.

Ive frozen reconstituted prescribed peptides accidentally several times and thawed them with no issues. I think it was Trustpointe who did a test of three freezings with no degradation. I’ve honestly wondered why people don’t reconstitute larger vials and freeze 1/2. This is not a recommendation… just a comment.
FkS@Lateralus0II23

@rorynotsorry Rory, what's your take on reconstituting peptides and then freezing them (to unfreeze and use later)?

Meeting with Novo Nordisk today (they make Ozempic and Wegovy). Anything you want me to ask? I have an agenda, so depending on time, no promises that yours will get answered.

I max dosed glycine for 90 days, but did not expect this. Most people don't know what glycine is, while those who do take 3 to 6 grams before bed. I wanted to see what would happen taking 10 to 15 grams a night. Here's what it did to my body:

So the two things were: 1. Generally useful. More people should do this: low-dose isotretinoin. It's what celebrities do, and it's 99% of the workhorse here. 2. Useful in my case. I had redness, seemingly from demodex, and ivermectin cream (+ the isotret) ended that.

Both annoyed and grateful that all it took to get clear, smooth skin was a pair of twinks telling me two simple things to do that fixed everything. Annoyed that I didn't know earlier; grateful it's so easy.

For those of you second guessing how big the grey market for GLP-1 is, see the screenshot I took from a TikTok message I received today. I can confirm that there are creators earning EVEN MORE! Millions. Millions of people are on RUO peptides. $LLY $NVO

@TheDrMAWZ Is it? To my knowledge, Nobody has been able to isolate bpc from gastric juice since the Croatian group claimed to. Not saying it doesn’t work, just saying that part of the story may not be true.

BPC-157 is a fragment of a protein your own stomach already makes. That is the part people miss. It is not a foreign drug. It is a 15-amino-acid sequence derived from human gastric juice & in animal models it accelerates healing across gut, tendon, and vascular tissue. The body wrote the molecule first.

@Krysia830073 RUO and PUO are the same. It’s just a way to hide the fact that it’s RUO to make everyone feel more comfortable. There is zero difference legally.

@theangrypharm @DATROOF2000 So most independent pharmacies make 1% net margins, deal with prior auth messes, will likely have these claims all audited in 12 months, and tie up all their free cash. Better to not fill the scripts and invest the money in Lilly stock. 😉

Jesus fucking christ doctors and mid-levels. Stop telling your patients the GLP1's are going to be covered under the bridge program, IT STILL REQUIRES A PRIOR AUTH THAT YOU NEED TO FILL OUT, ITS NOT AUTOMATIC. STOP PUTTING E11.9 ON FUCKING RX'S MEANT TO BE SENT TO THE BRIDGE PROGRAM. ITS E66 (FAT DUE TO BEING A FATTY) THERE ARE 3 DRUGS THAT ARE COVERED, LEARN THEM, AND STOP SENDING ME OZEMPIC WITH THAT FUCKING NOTE ON IT. YOU'RE DOCTORS NOT DENTISTS. This program isn't fucking hard, but there are hoops to jump through. I need a fucking drink.

Melatonin, mitochondria, and travel There is a close relationship between mitochondria and circadian rhythms When the rhythm is perturbed from something like travel, you through this off When we use melatonin at high doses during travel, we aren’t targeting sleep directly, we are using the strongest anti oxidant made by the body that the mitochondria can use “But it isn’t natural” Neither is getting a metal tube and flying for 12 hours Modern problems require modern solutions

2mg of melatonin is no man’s land The dose to match pineal output for sleep signalling is prob less than .3mg, with 10-40% oral bioavailability I am not pro using melatonin for sleep signaling. Use the eye-SCN-pineal-pitutary axis naturally The higher dosages are where things become interesting for whole body mitochondrial effects Read Dr Russel Reiter for more

@AbudBakri I’m having a hard time seeing the value of Epitalon, for most people, outside of the elderly with circadian dysfunction. It doesn’t seem to override bad sleep hygiene and with good sleep hygiene most people don’t need it. What am I missing ?

@MichaelAlbertMD Have you talked to any of pharmacies about it?My sense is pharmacies will not care to spend much time on this. They are looking at <3% gross margins and break even net for this program with audits and additional losses likely. Pharmacies lose millions dispensing GLPs.

The Vineyard Difference In the weeks leading up to the GLP-1 Bridge Program launch, our team proactively identified every Bridge-eligible patient, collected the information needed for their applications, and had everything ready to go. On July 1, we submitted applications for all eligible members. The biggest challenge so far? Pharmacies. I have tremendous respect for our pharmacy colleagues, but many pharmacies understandably weren't prepared for the new Bridge claim workflow. Our team has spent hours on the phone helping pharmacies navigate the submission process to ensure claims are processed correctly. We expect to continue providing that support as more pharmacies become familiar with the program. This is the Vineyard standard. We don't simply prescribe medications—we help patients navigate every step of the process, even when it means rolling up our sleeves and solving problems behind the scenes. That's the Vineyard difference. Learn more about us: joinvineyard.com

@maxmarchione If they continue to try and own each vertical themselves then open source models run on a companies own hardware is the only way forward. No big company should trust anthropic as a partner. Your data is your moat.

Anthropic moving into healthcare makes a lot of sense. Pharma companies are already paying them for AI tools, which gives Anthropic a direct look into how modern drug development works. In a way, Big Pharma is funding a potential competitor, but they don't have much of a choice if they want to stay competitive right now. On top of that, Anthropic has millions of users sharing health data which is a huge moat. Healthcare is a massive, complicated industry where better intelligence translates directly into saving lives. It's probably too early to say they will become the next Eli Lilly, but they have the resources and the data to compete with anyone.

@AbudBakri I’m trying anywhere from 50 to 100mg. I’m more like 2 hours before sleep. I will say that I generally sleep like 11p to 5a ish so I don’t get lots of sleep. I’m always looking for the things that optimize what I’m working with. 😁

@AbudBakri Not only a sleep aid…But it made it worse in my case. I wasn’t recovering better or performing better that I noticed. Theoretically high dose would concentrate in the mitochondria correct and maybe be more similar to ss31 affect?

Imagine a compound that claims to improve focus, boost learning, increase BDNF, and even help protect the brain after a stroke. Sounds like science fiction. It's called Semax—a peptide developed in the Soviet Union that's been used clinically in Russia for over 30 years. So... is it actually a real brain booster? In this video I break down: • The actual human and animal data • How Semax works • Whether it can really make you "smarter" • Side effects and safety • The biggest risk most people completely overlook: the bottle it's coming from I also cover the upcoming FDA PCAC meeting that could determine the future of legal access to Semax and several other peptides in the U.S. If you're interested in evidence—not hype—this one's for you. Have you tried Semax? Did it help your focus, or did you feel absolutely nothing? Let me know below. 👇
