@wrr02175771 For grilling, the carb, potatoes are often sliced or diced, onion and garlic added, seasonings added, and then wrapped in aluminum foil and put on the grill around 375F/190C for 35 minutes. At a bbq restaurant they will usually be mashed though.

>RT

Male refugees from Afghanistan and Syria in Germany show a keen interest in forming relationships with local women, but the local women show little interest in forming relationships with them. Germany, in particular, received over 1,4 million refugees between 2014 and 2016, predominantly from Muslim-majority countries such as Syria and Afghanistan. The majority of these arrivals consisted of young, single men within prime marriageable age brackets. This study examines partnership preferences of male refugees from Afghanistan and Syria who arrived in Germany between 2014 and 2016 and female residents of similar age. Overall, our results indicate a high level of openness among male refugees towards partnering with female members of the resident population, but a comparatively low level of openness among the latter towards partnering with recently arrived male refugees. This implies a substantial incongruence in partnership preferences among the two groups. Regarding the educational level of a potential partner, we found that all respondents prefer highly educated partners over those with lower levels of education. This suggests that, for refugees, securing a highly educated partner might serve as a means of upward social mobility and integration into higher-status networks in the host society. Furthermore, it is possible that highly educated women, due to their greater exposure to diverse social environments and potentially less discriminatory attitudes, are perceived as more open to intergroup partnerships, making them a more attractive choice for refugees seeking acceptance and social integration. On the other hand, the reluctance of resident women to accept partnerships with refugees is largely explained by their rejection of the ‘imported’ religious Islam. It is possible that resident women perceive the religious practices of newly arrived refugees as different from their own, reinforcing a social distance that limits intergroup partnerships. Moreover, this reluctance might not only reflect religious differences but also concerns about gender norms or perceived lifestyle incompatibilities.

A self-made, successful 46yo man with >$5M net worth can get an attractive 38yo doctor/successful professional or he can get a hot 28yo model/actress/bartender who hasn’t been able to make real money and has no reasonable path to do so. However, he’s almost certainly not getting a hot 28yo doctor. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Why is matchmaking expensive? To illustrate, here’s how I’ll lose money on a client’s $49,000 package. Client is 46, 6’2, exited tech founder. He’s looking for a woman 27-33, very specific criteria around match personality, appearance, and profession. Without diving into specifics, she: • Isn’t easily searchable online... • Isn’t likely to reply when we find her… • Isn’t likely to be single… • Often has a deal-breaker trait we can’t screen for without a phone call… • Isn’t necessarily interested in my client… I was expecting this to be a difficult search, so I quoted $49,000. I wasn’t expecting ~100 hours of labor to find each match, not including communication with the client! To date I’ve spent $45,000 on salaries for the women staffed on his search, plus $2,750 on styling and photos, and we still owe the client 2 matches... Before considering overhead (let alone opportunity cost) this will be a huge L financially. Things balance out though. Most engagements are profitable. Some engagements are quite profitable. For example, a new client in NYC paid $30,000 and paused after his first match, because he’s 99% sure we found his wife. That's still a new relationship, and engagements last 9 months (6 months of active matching + up to 3 months of pause), so we could be on the hook for more work in coming months. But you get the point 🙏

@one_of_humanity @schrondonowitz No cowboy comes from spanish "vaquero" which typically was a boy/young man who herded cattle with horse. When the amount of cattle exploded and commercialized they needed grown men esp with long distance cattle drives but a term already existed so cowboy stuck.

@schrondonowitz is the reason cowboys are called "boy" because it was considered Man's duty to have a family, maintain one, and contribute to the community? people nowadays want to look young, but people in the past seemed to want to be seen as adults quickly, so i think "boy" is derogatory.

no they're not, cow boys were litteraly farmboys who romed a wild and untamed country to do shitty jobs to survive another day, they were very individualistic and not very well regarded by the folks arround them at the time, wile samurais were a supperior class of individual compared to the commoners japanese and theyr entire purpose was to serve they're lords interest, mostly on military related matter but not entirely, wich means they were litteraly like european knignts, this part was so crucial that not having a lord to serve would make them a ronin wich were frowned upon and arguably much closer to the image of the cowboy, they did both were realy cool figures to modern eyes tho

You make a valid point; however, White Americans commit those same crimes at the 2nd-highest per capita rate when measured against any other 1st-world country. Bringing up 3rd-world, impoverished countries is nonsensical since the 1st world is also committing these crimes at scale. Middle -and upper-class White American males commit approximately 15,000 rape and sex crimes monthly on average within a population of 195 million. In Japan, monthly sex crimes total around 1,260 with a population of 130 million. White Americans are committing these crimes at a rate at least ten times higher. The disdain you feel for colored people is nothing but your inferiority complex and fear. The hate you have is that little demon that's living inside you and unfortunately, it's not allowed in the afterlife where you want to go.

This overused talking point actually disproves what you're trying to say. Japan saw instances of upskirting and took real action to protect women. They punish their criminals. They take accountability. Meanwhile whenever blacks are degenerate, gyrating your asses and performing sex acts in public, twerking on top of cars, gangbanging, shooting other in the streets, looting stores, raping our daughters, brutalizing women, beating up elders, and being public nuisances, you defend that behavior, deflect, and refuse to take any accountability. You freak out over people pointing out the garbage behavior while excusing the garbage behavior itself, crying about mean words. And the entire justice system and institutions of power lets you all get away with this atrocious, destructive behavior, hiding behind "racism." Not to mention the countries with the highest rates of rape are in African countries. And areas in the West with high concentrations of African migrants have higher and disproportionate rates of rape and sexual assault. So either take accountability, or kindly shut up. Everyone across the entire world is sick and tired of your monkey business.
Ayo-Elesho@Ayoelesho

Japanese men are so perverted that they commit a crime called upskirting, which means they secretly put their phone cameras underneath girls' skirts in and take pictures of their private parts. It got so bad that female-only coaches were created for women. In fact, while you can turn the shutter sound of your phone on or off in other parts of the world, you can't do so in Japan. This was to prevent Japanese men from taking pictures of girls’ private parts without their knowledge. So shut the hell up, you racist piece of shit.
