Shoutout to @PESchoolYT for this great Thanksgiving-themed activity! 🦃 🍂 Using RPS dice, SS tried to win at all four corners of the gym. After each lap completed, students collected a popsicle stick “turkey feather” to add to their team’s turkey. #PhysEd

@JRhonemus 1st-4th. For the younger grades, I modified the equipment/activity (foam ball for catching, closer distance for field goal, etc.) For the older grades, I allowed more student choice (ex. punting a beach ball, soccer ball, or football).

@JRhonemus Expectation is to make a line and drop the ball inside the container. I wanted a PE checklist that encourages students to leave with feeling positive that encompasses motivation and confidence.

Physed Hack, place note on containers to remind students to place ball away safely.

TOPGOLF…..Elementary PE Style ⛳️ Students try and land their ball on the targets (parachutes) to score points. A great day learning and practicing our golf skills in PE!  @Topgolf @FirstTee

Instead of “pin dodge” k- kids are playing “Fruit Fight” ( say that 3x fast!)- learning how to throw overhand and eat the rainbow 💪🏼🌈 🍇🍋🍒

@JRhonemus We only showed them how to build the hut before they began. We did this 2nd-5th.

We wrapped things up with a fun cooperative activity called Hula Hut Relays. St’s worked together to build hula huts and then had the tricky task of getting each teammate to crawl through without knocking it down. So awesome to see so much teamwork and problem solving, #physed
