You clearly haven't watched @rajkamaljha’s speech or, it seems, you have chosen to pick random words and construct a tweet that isn’t even remotely close to what he was saying. My editor's speech referred to actions taken against journalists by almost EVERY party in power -- including the TMC. (arrest of a professor for a cartoon). And, separately, when he walked onto the stage, he thanked all MPs in the room for being there — by name. Sad, how you are comfortable using the horrific violence as an opportunity to make a personal attack. Also evident is that you haven't read the Express’s coverage of political violence in the state or even its detailed report this morning. Or a few weeks ago when it investigated the bomb-making industry in West Bengal and tracked down the dozens of children maimed. Of course, a hit job is part of every spokesman’s job and at the Express, we always, very carefully, hear every calling out (keeps us on our toes) but, Kanchan, this is your new low.
