Max Kellerman believes the Spurs are being officiated UNFAIRLY in the series against OKC He says SGA flops on every possession while Wemby gets fouled a lot and the refs don’t call it (Via Game Over)

@tapps0149 @JSTXLaw @ThunderHusky17 Why not both lmfao. Can be mad for the awful calls and can be upset with Sga because he’s undoubtedly one of the most talented players in the league and doesn’t have to do all the theatrics to be elite but here we are. Sga been one of my favorites for years but he’s shameless rn.

@donbueckers77 @ThunderHusky17 No where did I say he couldn’t score. I said he flopped on every shot attempt. I know that reading comprehension can be difficult but let’s try at least.

@ChrisJanssen @kalpal85 @BenStanton77 Brother…stop trying to reason with OKC fans they get butt hurt at the slightest comment, and they have zero critical thinking skills. Over time you just ignore the dumb assess

Look, I don’t have a dog in the fight. I promise I’m being 100% objective here… I would make fun of my favorite players on my own team for this so I’m not being an OKC hater AT ALL (I even picked them to win the series, and the Larry again) when I say that this sort of behavior is absolutely despicable. I have LESS THAN ZERO respect for guys who do this stuff, don’t care what the team is. It makes a mockery of the game, and if I was commissioner, I’d be handing out suspensions for it…even retroactively via league office tape reviews. Before anyone jumps in with a “whataboutism” regarding Spurs players… again, I’m being objective. If they do it then my opinion remains the same, and yes, Wemby should have received a suspension for his elbow. There is NO WAY you can defend this kind of behavior, and if it was Paolo and Franz out there doing this you wouldn’t catch me defending them either.

Y’all.. I’ve been watching the NBA since the late 80s. I don’t know if I’ve seen a superstar get this favorable of calls that Wembanyama is getting. He always gets the benefit of the doubt. He runs over people and always jumps over the back.

@PLATY_sol @ThunderHusky17 Comparing number of free throws doesn’t mean he’s not flopping. That Oklahoma education got yall fucked up huh? Lol

the discourse on the Thunder is terrible. That fanbase claiming that NBA fans wanted to “bring back physicality” is true. But they act like blatant and obvious fouls shouldn’t be called. The Wolves did the same thing last series, and I never saw their fanbase act like it wasn’t happening. Also Thunder fans comparing the hair pull to Wemby’s elbow is hilarious, Wemby was given a flagrant 2 and ejected. Hartenstein didn’t even get a foul called. The sad part about the whole thing is SGA’s reputation being in the dirt because he potentially can be an all time great guard, but the insecurity of the Thunder fanbase can’t even acknowledge they get reffed in a different way then every other teams on BOTH ends of the floor so Shai’s reputation will stay in the dirt until the roster looks much different. The funniest part about the whole thing is Thunder fans will act like 29 other fanbases complain because the Thunder are some unbeatable juggernaut, when in reality… Their only ring in existence was off a Haliburton game 7 achilles injury, and the Spurs were a Dylan Harper hamstring away from having every chance to take TWO in OKC to open up the series. And now the Thunder will most likely advance barring good news on Fox and Harper because the Spurs having an off ball guard (Castle) run their offense against the Thunder is the worst matchup you could ever imagine so the discourse is gonna get worse before it gets better. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

@HOFS0T0 @pqrron The fact that you need to be shown shows you watch the game with an obvious bias like most fans, and only care about Thunder fouls and FTs when Shai statistically has a bad whistle

@SkyedOKC This kind of critical thinking is why Oklahoma has the lowest education rating of any state

Seeing some "OKC is grabbing Wemby on defense" discourse. I'd encourage anyone saying that to watch how SGA is defended.

@eagleslbcore @BenHowardOPT Again Idk why this point keeps getting missed. Of course the spurs offense as a whole matters. But he’s responding to a clip of Caruso talking about guarding wemby 1v1. Surely what wemby shot when guarded by him is what matters based on what Caruso is talking about in the clip
