@NHL @Avalanche Imagine these lines going into the playoffs:
Lehky, Nate, Marty
Gabe, Brock, Val
Ross, Kadri, Roy
Kelly, Drury, LOC
That's disgusting! Good luck trying to beat these guys! #goavsgo

BREAKING: NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman announces plans to build a PERMANENT U.S. base on the Moon—the plan rolls out in three phases: rover and tech deployments, semi-habitable infrastructure for astronauts, and ultimately a permanent human presence on the lunar surface. Isaacman called it “humanity’s first permanent surface outpost beyond Earth."

@BrentAWilliams2 My former doctor, a fairly young but experienced MD, closed his own practice when the ACA kicked in. I believe he's still practicing medicine, but probably not as an owner.

@DarkWillow4Ever @chassiskat @FreeStateColor1 “Feed kids” fuck off. They already had it budgeted. You’re ok with it when it doesn’t affect you. Don’t worry they’re coming after yours next. Failed state inaction
English

@JSWindsor19 @chassiskat @FreeStateColor1 Oh you mean decreasing the deductions for those who make over $300k to feed kids. I forgot about that.
I think kids not going hungry is a win. It increases learning and decreases misbehavior when kids aren’t hungry.

DECLINE TO SIGN!
Right now, signatures are being collected for probably the largest tax increase in Colorado history...
DO NOT SIGN THEIR PETITION! If they don't get enough signatures it will not get on the ballot!
From the article: "Under the graduated tax proposal, the tax rate would be cut to as little as 3.7% for someone’s first $25,000 of annual income, with income between $25,001 and $100,000 being taxed at 4.2%. Income between $100,001 and $500,000 would still be taxed at 4.4%
"The rate would increase for higher earnings, with income between $500,001 and $750,000 taxed at 7.4%, while an income range of $750,001 to $1 million would be taxed at 7.9%. Income above $1 million would be taxed at the highest rate, 8.4%.
"Supporters say they are preparing for pushback on the proposal.
"The libertarian-leaning Independence Institute pushed against a graduated income tax when it was initially proposed last fall, arguing that the state’s low flat tax rate has made it attractive for businesses, entrepreneurs and skilled workers from across the country."

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time.
The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more.
But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.
English

@DarkWillow4Ever @chassiskat @FreeStateColor1 For “high earners” it did. They’re after everyone else’s next.
English

@JSWindsor19 @chassiskat @FreeStateColor1 What? Nothing passed last year statewide that changes TABOR.
English

@DarkWillow4Ever @chassiskat @FreeStateColor1 Well they’re getting rid of TABOR, masquerading it as “education”
Voters stole it from me last year. They’ll get it all eventually
English

@JSWindsor19 @chassiskat @FreeStateColor1 That would require another vote by the people. Alllowing for a graduated income tax doesn’t change the other parts of TABOR. Any future increase would require a vote as TABOR requires.
English

@DarkWillow4Ever @chassiskat @FreeStateColor1 That’s just the start. Then the increases will happen for everyone once flat tax is removed
English

@chassiskat @FreeStateColor1 I don’t know. Is it baiting when it benefits me? I’m pretty comfortable but make well under $500k.
The funding for early childcare would dramatically increase affordability for young families.

@FreeStateColor1 FUCK OFF COLORADO!!! We don’t want your communism

@20VC3 @Top100Rick Nope it’s long drive

@RichardWyl39256 @FreeStateColor1 You thought TABOR meant something? They’ll do whatever they want.
English

@FreeStateColor1 How can 1289 pass without a vote of the people? It sounds to me like it will be increasing taxes.
English

Starting Now: The Colorado House Finance Committee will be debating two bills to raise taxes...
HB26-1289 is 70 pages long! It makes 30+ changes to Colorado's tax code including ending an exemption on precious metal bullion and coins! That's right, your silver and gold will be taxed if this passes!
HB26-1206 would allow city and county housing authorities the ability to ask voters for tax increases and take out debt...
Two bad bills!
