@NYCMayor I was JUST wondering about delivery trucks idling while cleaning the flood caused by inadequate NYC sewers, after driving on the pothole infested minefields which pass for NYC streets.

Amazon is worth $2 trillion. But it didn't deign to pay the millions of dollars it racked up in unpaid fines as its’ trucks illegally polluted our air and forced New Yorkers to breathe in their exhaust.
We collected every dollar they owe the people of this city — and will continue to hold them accountable. In New York, corporations are held to the same standard as everyone else.
No company — no matter how large or powerful — is above the law.

BREAKING: A massive civil war has reportedly emerged within the New York Times, with many journalists questioning the credibility of Kristof’s piece. One NYT journalist stated: “I am sick of being embarrassed by the Opinion section.”

I don’t realize that. Have heard good things about the Rivian SUV.
Mac Tyson@MacTysonKarate

@RonDeSantis Made in America EV Start Up @Rivian was named after the Indian River in Florida where the founder @RJScaringe grew up. Maybe one day he could build the R4/R5 or that Rivian Sports Car design concept they have in his home state one day.

⚠️ The media’s complicity in laundering terrorist propaganda and sanitizing the records of Hamas terrorists should be a massive scandal.
Aizenberg@Aizenberg55

🚨Committee to Protect Journalists @pressfreedom recently removed Yaacoub Al-Barsh from its “journalists killed” list after Hamas admitted on May 10th he was a commander. But note what never becomes the story: Hamas using press cover for combat. That story they refuse to tell.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy: "In recent days, there have been many appeals and signals regarding the setup for tomorrow in Moscow in connection with our Ukrainian long-range sanctions. The principle of symmetry in our actions is well known and has been clearly communicated to the Russian side. An additional argument for Ukraine in determining our position has always been the resolution of one of the key humanitarian issues of this war – namely, the release of prisoners of war. Red Square is less important to us than the lives of Ukrainian prisoners who can be brought home. That is why today, within the framework of the negotiating process mediated by the American side, we received Russia’s agreement to conduct a prisoner exchange in the format of 1,000 for 1,000. A ceasefire regime must also be established on May 9, 10, and 11. Ukraine is consistently working to bring its people home from Russian captivity. I have instructed our team to promptly prepare everything necessary for the exchange. I thank the President of the United States and his team for their productive diplomatic involvement. We expect the United States to ensure that the Russian side fulfills these agreements. Glory to Ukraine!"

U.S. President Donald Trump: "I am pleased to announce that there will be a THREE DAY CEASEFIRE (May 9th, 10th, and 11th) in the War between Russia and Ukraine. The Celebration in Russia is for Victory Day but, likewise, in Ukraine, because they were also a big part and factor of World War II. This Ceasefire will include a suspension of all kinetic activity, and also a prison swap of 1,000 prisoners from each Country. This request was made directly by me, and I very much appreciate its agreement by President Vladimir Putin and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Hopefully, it is the beginning of the end of a very long, deadly, and hard fought War. Talks are continuing on ending this Major Conflict, the biggest since World War II, and we are getting closer and closer every day. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP."

The Mossad: Satirical and Awesome
Once upon a time I chased breaking news trying to be the first to post on X and get all the likes. Lately, I am fully dedicated to the art of trolling and laughing at our enemies because they're stupid. And education through humor. I get fewer likes. I don't get paid as much as the "breaking news" centric accounts, but with me you have a good time. Hope that's cool with you, my faithful agents.

New York, sustained rain and wind could come as early as tonight and stay through to Tuesday — with the potential for flooding in stretches of the city. NYC Emergency Management@nycemergencymgt

Rain and thunderstorms are expected to impact New York City on Monday as a strong cold front moves through the region. NYCEM has activated the City’s Flash Flood Emergency Plan. Be Ready for Thunderstorms & Rainfall: nyc.gov/beready The severe weather risk remains low but not zero. There is a slight chance of isolated strong storms capable of producing damaging wind gusts Monday evening. Localized flooding is possible, especially in low lying areas, underpasses, and locations with poor drainage. Ponding on roadways may develop during heavier downpours and where storm drains are clogged. Rain may begin Sunday evening around 7 PM and continue overnight into early Monday morning. Periods of moderate rain are likely through the overnight hours and into the Monday morning commute. Conditions become more active Monday as the cold front approaches. Scattered thunderstorms are possible late Monday morning through the afternoon, with the greatest risk for stronger storms during the evening. The most active period is expected between about 6 PM Monday and 2 AM Tuesday as the cold front moves across the region. During this time, heavier downpours, gusty winds, and organized thunderstorms may develop. Rainfall totals across New York City are expected to range from about 1.0 to 1.1 inches on average, with localized amounts up to around 1.25 inches where thunderstorms develop. Most rainfall rates will remain under 0.25 inches per hour, though heavier showers could briefly produce rates near 1 inch per hour. South to southeast winds will increase through Monday, with sustained winds around 15 to 22 mph and gusts that could reach 45 to 55 mph during the evening as the front moves through. Rain and storms gradually taper early Tuesday morning. A brief rain or snow shower cannot be ruled out Tuesday morning as cooler air moves into the region. New Yorkers should allow extra travel time during periods of heavy rain, especially during the Monday evening commute. Avoid driving through flooded streets. Even shallow water can stall vehicles. Secure loose outdoor items such as patio furniture or trash bins before winds increase. If thunder is heard, move indoors and stay away from open areas. Clear debris from nearby storm drains if it is safe to do so to help reduce street flooding. Stay informed by checking the forecast and signing up for emergency alerts: nyc.gov/notifynyc
