Laughing at Australians that can’t afford a Tesla in’s next level CUNT
Not everyone is in a position to be able to own a Tesla.
It’s fucking pricks like you that make our country fucked.
EvAustralia@ev_australia
Woke up this morning with a "full tank." Didn't go to a servo. Didn't spend $120. Just… plugged in overnight like my phone. Owning a Tesla in Australia is genuinely unfair to petrol drivers. I feel bad. (I don't.) ⚡🤣
English

@realRick_AUS I agree he shouldn’t be smug and laugh at average Aussies. If that’s the entirety of your point, then all good.
But EVs are straight up more affordable, and anyone who says they’re not is cruelly keeping the average Aussie under the thumb of crippling fuel and maintenance costs.
English

@capnfecklesword @sydney_ev Even a thousand years isn’t enough, because we don’t just want to use the same amount of energy into the future. We want to use orders of magnitude more energy. And it’s just not feasible to physically move that amount of fossil fuels through any kind of supply chain indefinitely
English

We've got a very long runway and people have been predicting the end of oil for decades and we keep finding more and better techniques for extraction. As for the renewables bollocks, it's part of the system, but not the whole system. Net zero is ready to get dumped along with climate alarmism
English

So many now scream. We need to build oil refineries in Australia.
Just how long does you think it’s going to take to build one? Even then, still pay global prices for fuel and oil.
We have opportunities to untie ourselves from oil and it stranglehold on our economy #auspol
English

@capnfecklesword @sydney_ev But oil is finite. It will run out, whether it’s our generation or the next, eventually all energy goes to renewables because it’s the last one standing.
English

@sydney_ev Nah, we should also drill our own oil and frack the viable shale oil fields AND build refineries. Fuck all the nonsense that we'll ever be all EV, even if all vehicles were electrified, we still need oil for many, many other industrial processes and products.
English

@AngusTaylorMP Typical quick fix BS. Sacrifice the future for the now…. All this does is keep families tied to ever-increasing petrol prices and keeps them down forever.
An EV actually liberates them from this constantly financial bleed. And you don’t want this?
English

@theoztrucker Imagine mining resources to build solar panels, transporting it to a facility to manufacture them, transporting those panels to areas where the energy is needed, and then burning those panels to make energy.
That’s the economics of petrols/diesel.
English

When I was running Sydney/Melbourne return carting the resin to make fibreglass insulation I was burning on average 900 litres per round trip. On this price that’s about $2399. Two trips per week $4798. This will kill road transport if it continues. Good luck everyone.

$168.88 to fill the tank. This is Australia under labor 🇦🇺
English

@EVCircles @samuelbarry04 We should have a lot more cities but of lower population. The 3 big cities are overloaded and inefficient.
English

@samuelbarry04 That assumes that it’s possible to just keep spreading out on quarter acre blocks forever. Which I suppose it is, if we’re happy to pay for the infrastructure to do it and accept the ludicrous travel times to anywhere.
Oh, we’re not? Well there you go.
English

I don’t think that in a country as big and prosperous as ours Australians should have to live in Soviet Style apartment blocks

Sydney YIMBY@SydneyYIMBY
The NSW Planning system was established in the 1970s because units like these were going up too fast and people found it too disruptive.
English

@fuckLabo9023394 @OneNationAus All this back and forth over diesel…
All I’m saying is these “fuel crisis” will keep happening over time and the solution isn’t to buy more diesel.
There is a full solution but Im sorry you seem emotionally attached to diesel.
But anyway I reckon we’d get along alright.
English

@JTPooly @OneNationAus Elon built the world's greatest spy network consisting of over 8,000 satellites funded by the pentagon. When it comes to freedom u have no idea what your talking about. Your a puppet and a slave and don't even know it.
English

SITUATION CRITICAL: Labor has let petrol stations run dry while dismissing the warnings as a “right-wing conspiracy”.
Reports are now coming in that bowsers across regional and rural areas are shutting down.
There is no time for spin, just action. The government must act immediately in the national interest.
The warnings were there. The question now is simple: why didn’t Labor listen?

English

@bluewavedream Fibre nbn shits all over Starlink. It’s orders of magnitude more bandwidth and better latency for same price to customer.
If you don’t understand the different nbn technologies you really should think twice before posting this.
English

Albanese Government spends $3.8 billion dollars to connect 622,000 homes to NBN.
A Starlink set up for the same number of homes is $12 million. The Albanese Government is as stupid as it gets.
Grok@grok
Starlink Residential in Australia has no upfront hardware cost (kit rented), just $19 shipping per home. For 622k homes: ~$12M AUD initial. Monthly starts at $69 per home for 100Mbps plan, so ~$43M AUD/month total or $515M/year. Bulk gov deals could cut that further. Far cheaper than $3.8B fibre capex to deploy.
English

@fuckLabo9023394 @OneNationAus Stick* to tightening your leash from your terrorist overlords, as you know nothing of freedom.
Even your profile pic is Elon. He’ll tell you EVs are better than diesel. Nothing is more abundant than the sun’s power.
English

@JTPooly @OneNationAus Stay to playing games as u know nothing about the real world.
English

@fuckLabo9023394 @OneNationAus Let me guess, as a diesel driver you have to do that drive every morning to get your latte?
Plenty of EV drivers have driven that drive with no hassle.
And diesel won’t get you there if your terrorist overlords say no more diesel shipments for you. Stop kneeling to them.
English

@JTPooly @OneNationAus Lol my ass you drive an EV from Adelaide to Darwin and tell me that same shit. Without diesel you have no hope in hell of getting home and never will.
English

@fuckLabo9023394 @OneNationAus Diesel is dogshit mate. You’re beholden to terrorists on the other side of the world to run your weak mechanical donkey that shits cancer into your lungs. Just charge your car at home, rural properties still have electricity, and if not on any grid just set up a few solar panels.
English

@JTPooly @OneNationAus You do know that rural EV stations are powered by diesel don't you? EVs are a joke. Diesel is king.
English

@KatyKray73 Probably is a no emissions vehicle because there’s no diesel coming anymore lol

@assassinscreed Please fix AC Mirage's FSR Frame Gen! It is broken if you use FSR Upscaling at lower settings than Native.
