One of the simple joys in my daughter's life right now is learning a book she placed on hold at the library is finally available. She loves to read, and she loves sharing that joy with friends. Put down the screens and encourage kids to read physical books for fun. 📚

If you’re a parent, read this book. Then read to your kids. Every day. It doesn’t have to be an hour. Even 10 to 15 minutes consistently may be one of the greatest advantages you can give them for their focus, language, and long-term development.

@Nattykbrown The same thing happened to me just before my 2nd book was released. It breaks the spirit a bit, but don't stress too much. The reviews from your ARC's will balance the average pretty quickly. Hang in there!

Someone has 1* my unreleased book 😭 (and they definitely haven’t read it as I haven’t sent ARC’s yet). For an author who may not get many reviews this is devastating.
