@RobotPete Have never heard of a "Rebel Machine" wagon. But...It sure does look nice. I'd drive it.

@DaveDuricy But...you gotta credit whomever thought to strip away the stuff that had grown on the basic '53 body to make the '59 Lark. And then props to Brooks Stevens for keeping it modern through '66.

@JWRIII @AlexTran677026 Yeah it’s not a bad movie. I mean compared to movies today. It’s a masterpiece. It’s just in the shadow of two giants

@JWRIII YES! G A, Petticoat Junction, & Beverly Hillbillies were all commingled. I remember Granny running past the Cannonball. Why I should remember that from 50+ years ago, I have no idea.

@perthovalman @AlexTran677026 It was 2024 before I made myself watch it. The original 2 are so perfect, and all the grumbling about III sort of kept me away. I did chuckle when Andy Garcia & Bridget Fonda appeared as they were in EVERY movie made around that time... It was an okay film...

@JWRIII @AlexTran677026 I thought it really suffered from Robert Duvall’s absence. And just lacked something. Maybe they waited too long. Should have been made 10 years earlier.

@perthovalman @AlexTran677026 I thought it was "okay" until that ending scene. I too wanted to scream...

@AlexTran677026 7/10 it’s not in the same league as the first two. But it’s still pretty good
