BREAKING: DESECRATION! Graves are exhumed and the bodies moved to make way for a $1.5 billion Trump Organization golf course in Vietnam — and the locals are furious. Vietnam finds itself in a particularly difficult position because Trump previously threatened to place a 46% tariff on exports from the export-reliant nation. And the locals aren't even being given a fair price for their heartbreak. Reuters reported last year that some individuals are being paid just $12 for 10 square feet of land. The course is expected to gobble up roughly four square miles, displacing over 4,000 households. “The grave of my great-grandparents has been there since 1967, before the establishment of this country, so why should I move them?” Hoang Anh Xa, who has five family members buried at the site, told the FT. Not only are graves being disturbed, but fertile farmland is being snatched up, leaving locals without a way to feed their families. “I won’t be able to find another job,” said Xa. “We do not oppose the policy of the Party and the government. We just ask for one thing only, the land price has to be [higher].” One woman was offered a lump sum of $3,200 and rice to abandon her farm. Many have lived and farmed this land for decades. “The whole village is worried about this project because it will take our land and leave us jobless," said one farmer. “When they told us about the golf project, the people were excited and supported the project for the development of the country,” said farmer Nguyen Duc Theo. But they soon discovered that the were going to be given "below market rates" for the land. This is what happens when you elect a lifelong crook to be President. Rather then litigate the deranged smear, Mangubat replied to Miller with a simple "shut up you ugly fuck." It quickly went mega-viral, prompting a wave of screeching and pearl-clutching from Republicans. These are the same Republicans who constantly tell us that we should just get over Trump's "mean tweets." The same Republicans who claim that Democrats are literally sacrificing children to Satan. The same Republicans whose President wrote on social media that "a whole civilization" would "die" unless his demands were met. These people sling filth every time they log online, but God forbid we call one of them ugly. And Phillip wasn't done. She moved on from Katie Miller to a prominent member of the Trump administration— "You've got the Communications Director for the White House, Stephen Chung..." she said, pulling up images of his tweets. "'Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie are some of the dumbest R-words ever to be in.' He says, 'Hey, R-word, you must be thinking of someone else.'" "He refers to another person as, 'you have no idea what you're talking about, you slope-brained, mouth-breathing moron,'" read Phillip. Cheung's other posts included one calling Stephen Colbert a "sad and pathetic excuse for a human being" and another calling him "an entitled prick." "So on and so forth. I mean, this is a person who works in the government," said Phillip. "He travels with the President. He tweets from official accounts. So I don't know. How are you comparing saying someone's husband is ugly to, you know, violence in politics? It just doesn't make any sense to me." It only makes sense once you realize that Republicans don't believe in civility as a rule, they just want Democrats to play nicely while they do and say whatever they want. At least…not to the official World Bank fund. Instead, donations have instead reportedly flowed through a separate JPMorgan account controlled by the organization. Unlike the World Bank fund, the account is not subject to the same transparency requirements. Meaning he’s stealing all the money, which everyone figured he was going to do in the first place. While nobody believed that Trump had any intention of actually rebuilding Gaza, it is still shocking to see him perpetrate such a wide-scale and brazen theft in front of the whole world. Every single cent needs to be stripped from him and given back to the people of Gaza once Democrats are back in charge.
