@elkmovie I tried looking the last one up with Pleco's handwriting recognizer, but other than a loud crack and whiff of sulfur, there weren't any results.

I got frustrated with my childish Chinese handwriting, so I hired a calligrapher and made an animated Anki flashcard deck for learning cursive Chinese. Maybe you'll find it useful too. megamandarin.com/?product=pract…

@elkmovie And the users who try to wield that fearsome power probably aren't going to spend a lot on paid add-ons, right? In my own small experience peddling Anki decks, charging $40 means my customers have been great to work with.

@michael_nielsen Do you use mnemonics for figures like these? They ought to teach the major system in schools.

In 2014 the World Bank estimated 86 million got access to electricity (From my Anki memory system. These kind of facts always stagger me. I have such a provincial view. The world is too big to know (but it’s fun to try)
