In this nonrandomized study of 73 #SAH patients treated with IV milrinone as 1st line therapy for DCI, compared to 57 pts treated with conventional pressers, MIL was associated with:
• Less endovascular therapy (36% vs 56%, P=0.02)
• A borderline association with better 6-month outcome (P=0.06)
We need a proper RCT!

Our preprints with @TheLancet unveil biallelic NOTCH3 variants: truncating ones cause neurodevelopmental disorder, while cysteine missense resemble CADASIL. Missense carriers exhibit CADASIL; truncating carriers are mostly asymptomatic unless affecting last exon, leading to LMS.
