Returned from annual leave today to find that a case I have been working on for almost 3 years resulted in my Client being acquitted on all 7 Counts following a 10 day Crown Court trial. (1/2)

A very satisfactory afternoon yesterday after my client was cleared of gross misconduct and all allegations were not proven following a 3 day misconduct hearing. The allegations involved my client having to place himself on duty and arrest a member of the public. (1/3)

After a 19month long GM investigation for 2 officers, their hearing was concluded as NO case to answer. The impact of that for them cannot be underestimated. Acting as advocate in that arena is daunting but today shows why fed reps do this role. #sayandstay #UoF @JohnPaulCampion

This is a case that has been ongoing for in excess of 18 months and IMO should never have gotten this far. Well over 100 hours of preparation have gone into this case and it makes it all worthwhile when we manage to achieve the right result. (2/3)

At work Saturday night. Went to help the team with a chap who had barricaded himself in an address with a knife. Long story short, after 15minutes of grabbing and scrapping we got him out. Knees been sore and swollen ever since, just got back from A+E and I’ve torn my ACL again
