Very fortunate to have access to an abundance of scopes to capture images like this. These are primary neurons treated with blebbistatin and stained for acetylated tubulin. @fluoroforce iLUT again coming in HOT this #FluorescenceFriday

@Roy_Lab_Thinks Could there be actin filaments coupled to these microtubules? I've never seen NM2 bound to MTs like this but you can see the motor head doublets. Cool image!

Its non-muscle myosin II, and the axons were treated with low detergent to splay the MTs. Was surprised to see so much myosin on single MTs, but one of those things that will need a lot of work to figure out so that was the end of that.

Life has been pulling me away from the scope (I had a baby named Henry!), but #FlourescenceFriday never takes a break. CAD cell with a dual tag myosin 2 construct - green on the motor heads and magenta on the tails, giving a🟢🟣🟢triplet. Can even see a few processive runs🏃‍♂️

@J__Today I see. I only asked because I know that the anti active Rac1 has been shown to be unreliable. And I know these anti Small-GTPases are a bit hit or miss too. But beautiful image nevertheless!!

@AnhHLe2702 Thank you! This was actually the first attempt at using the antibody so I don't have a great answer for you, but the signal and localization was quite dispersed along neurites and cortical at the soma. I can certainly get back to you with a better answer soon!
