From a Jeffco Kids First parent: Our @JeffcoSchoolsCo daughter is on JV soccer. So far this season they’ve played against 3 boys that we know of. The last school, the boy was the goalie and a girl missed out on that position. Also, the boy dating a girl at our high school continues to use the girls’ bathroom. Jeffco should not downplay this issue. The boy using the girls restrooms is trans. He presents as they/them. He has grown his hair out long but primarily dresses as a boy and is dating a biological female. Students knew him before so they are not guessing. (This same school has had males peering over female stalls and one male was caught with drugs in the female restroom). The biological boys on girls JV we only saw on the field. But girls verified the three on three separate teams were boys. Not tom boys. Coaches also acknowledged to the girls after many complaints that they were playing a boy in each case. The coach also told them there is nothing that can be done so just “move past it.” @Riley_Gaines_ @JenniferSey
