This is a monument to policy failure. The people of Nandi will not leave their farms to become hermits in tenth-floor bedsitters. The serenity of Nandi, the land of champions cannot be traded for concrete caves that nobody wants to inhabit. The State Department for Housing boasts a 96.3% budget absorption rate. But what has been absorbed? Public money into empty walls. Meanwhile, the government has mobilized over KSh 518 billion for this programme, collected over KSh 110 billion in housing levies from hardworking Kenyans, and allocated another KSh 50.6 billion for the coming fiscal year. THE REAL CRISIS: OUR SCHOOLS ARE CRUMBLING. While billions sit idle in unoccupied apartments, Kenya's 24,566 public primary schools across 47 counties are falling apart. The government's own data reveals a KSh 117 billion funding shortfall for education over the past four years. Primary schools alone face a KSh 14 billion deficit. Children are learning under trees. Classrooms built for 40 pupils now hold 100. The Competency-Based Curriculum requires laboratories, libraries, and adequate spaces , yet a majority of schools lack even basic mathematics materials and proper sanitation. Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba admitted before Parliament that "as a country we do not know how much it costs to educate a child." This is not governance. This is abdication. THE NUMBERS DO NOT LIE. If the government redirected the KSh 518 billion already mobilized for housing, plus ongoing levy collections, toward school infrastructure at the current standard NG-CDF construction rate of KSh 70 million per two-story school building, we could immediately upgrade over 9,600 schools; nearly 40% of all public primary schools in Kenya. Within three years, EVERY single public primary school in Kenya could have proper classrooms, offices, sanitation, and learning materials. We call upon the National Assembly, the Executive, and every Kenyan of conscience to reject the politics of concrete and embrace the politics of human capital. Let us PRIORITIZE to build schools. For the record you don’t need the Housing Levy tax to achieve this. The budget has a lot of misplaced priorities that can be realigned, leakages and theft stopped and we make this happen. Let us educate a generation, not warehouse them in empty promises.

Affordable Housing Project units built in Emgwen in Nandi County remain 99% unoccupied exactly 4months after its completion. Just one unit is occupied by Sabastian Sawe who was awarded after jetting back to the country for breaking marathon's world record. This Boma Yangu Estate in Kapsabet Town, features 220 modern housing units across nine blocks, including 60 studio units, 20 one-bedroom units, 120 two-bedroom units, and 20 three-bedroom units. The project seems to be a white elephant already because tell me, who will live in these concrete caves except maybe migrant workers? 2. How can one leave the serenity of Nandi land and go live like a hermit in a bedsitter on tenth floor?

When I started the expose on JKIA Adani scam this is exactly how small minds advised me, ooh Ruto will never cancel the deals he already are the money, Kenyans can’t force him to cancel, even the finance bill many were saying ooh he will never cancel it. The thing is somebody has to carry the vision and for now you as many kényans don’t see it yet but many others are seeing the possibility so sit back and Watch.

Kenyans are funny people! You sit in France with your HEC Paris MBA dropping hot takes on good governance like the voter is some enlightened philosopher who just needs the right ideology to wake up. You people think you can change everybody overnight. You think society is just a malleable blob that will sway to whatever fancy ideas you preach from abroad. Newsflash that's pure idealism, the delusional belief that perfect principles alone will fix a broken system without dealing with ground reality first. We know the problem is the rotten system. But we are NOT at that level yet. Stop forcing your ivory tower ignorance on us. Fact! There are only 2.1 million Kenyans on this entire app out of over 55 million citizens. Not every Kenyan is reading your tweet. In fact the vast majority don't know who the hell you are, don't know/ have X accounts and have zero time for your threads. They are busy surviving. We need to start from somewhere, real, competent and independent National Assembly that actually checks power instead of rubber stamping it. Serious voter education that actually reaches the villages. Understanding how the masses operate not this elitist fantasy that everyone will suddenly reject tribal kingpins because you said Guok. Use common sense bro. Don't you know there are Kenyans in Kisii who only listen to local radio and local TV as source of information? Don't you know theres a Kisii man you cannot ideolize out of his loyalty because he only trusts Matiang'i and his own? The masses vote with emotion, voters evolve too. Wake up to the reality before you lecture us on power. The system won't fix itself because you tweeted from Paris.

When I exposed that human blood was being bought and exported, the Aden Duale-led Ministry of Health rushed to deny it. I was even threatened with arrest for speaking about it. Now The Standard Group PLC has published an investigation pointing to a network trading blood and other human specimens for profit. One of the victims mentioned is Beatrice Imbakala. And this is the problem with Kenya: When you expose something ugly, the system’s first instinct is not to investigate. It is to deny, intimidate, and protect itself. Until the evidence becomes too big to bury. How many other scandals have been silenced this way? How many truths are still being called “fake” today?

I missed my flight in Nairobi once because of traffic on Mombasa Road. Like fully missed it. I got to the airport sweaty, exhausted, dragging my suitcase like it personally betrayed me. I already knew there was no chance, but I still ran to the counter hoping for mercy. The woman checked her screen, looked at me, then said, “You were the last passenger.” I laughed a little because what else do you do at that point? Then she lowered her voice and said, “The plane is still on the ground.” Next thing I know this airport employee is SPEED WALKING me through the terminal like we’re in an action movie. Security waved me through, another worker grabbed my carry-on to help me run, and I’m apologizing to literally everyone while fighting for my life. I got to the gate completely out of breath. The guy scanning boarding passes looked at me and said, “Eh, Nairobi traffic. We understand.” People on the plane actually clapped when I walked in looking half dead. I have never respected airport workers more in my life. Big up to them.

They've engineered the silence because they fear you more than they fear any judge. An informed public is their worst nightmare. So read the filings. Track the hearings. Ask the hard questions. The @IMFAfrica @KeTreasury, @NAssemblyKE, and every pen that signed these loans must answer. Some politicians waiting in the wings will not speak because they hope to inherit the same broken system. To those seeking office: this is a test of principle. You cannot inherit a system you refuse to question. We don't need their headlines to know our rights. The Constitution didn't give us a voice to whisper. The front page isn't theirs to give. It's ours to demand. Stay loud. Stay informed. The law is on our side #OdiousDebtKenya #PeoplePower #DeniBandia
