We actually saw this happen in sotm, the "5 min ago" email states that M2 began as a copy of M1 but grew into something different.

When I was originally told about FNAF in DBD, note the date (almost a month before reveal) I also have no idea which license was the original 2025 Anniversary as alluded to in the second one… “Thrown out” This furthers my info that FNAF was originally meant for 2024 Anniversary instead of D&D.. this was an official source :)
