Brazil has a very small Jewish population but a very powerful pro-Israel lobby based in the major banking center of São Paulo.
The Lobby has a center-left, Harvard-trained neoliberal Congresswoman and puppet, @tabataamaralsp, now trying to impose the same IHRA censorship laws that Trump imposed on American universities and EU incorporated into its criminal law. It bans the view that Israel is a racist endeavor, bans comparisons between Israel and the Nazis, bans discussions of the role of Jews in Jesus' death, and so many other obviously protected free speech views.
Here Tabata Ameral is with her politician-husband and one of Brazil's richest billionaires, the fanatically pro-Israel Luciano Huck. The same pattern over and over all over the democratic world: the greatest attack on free speech.

We need a mass world coalition to stop Israel’s genocidal march throughout the Middle East and the lawless terrorism and apartheid within its own borders. Boycott, Divest, and Sanction is the recipe to stop further violence. It’s Dr Martin Luther King’s strategy of peaceful change. We must deploy it en mass and create a coalition of those who we may not agree with politically on other fronts but find common ground on this rolling justice. It has awoken the moral center in most people.

Without Iron Dome, the tens of thousands of rockets that Hamas fired from Gaza into Israeli cities after October 7 could have killed hundreds, even thousands of Israelis. Many others could have been hurt by the missiles fired by the Houthis in Yemen ... but critics of Israel simply don't care about that.
