I love the NFL divisional round - 8 teams, 4 games, great drama. It's only missing one thing: Greg Olsen. Because Olsen was supplanted as FOX's top broadcaster by Tom Brady, his playoffs as a game analyst are over this year - even tho I'd argue he's #1 among all NFL analysts.

Re: my take on officiating… This is not even about the Panthers on an exclusive level. It’s about the quality of the product, which was greatly diminished today because of the horrible execution on the officiating side. It cheapens the product/experience.

Dan is right. The officials can’t do that. They blew the whistle to end the play and then ruled it was a backwards pass. So Dowdle didn’t advance the ball
