@JackLayers Yes, you’re getting that right. It still enters with one lore counter. #WotCstaff

@Dunkatog Hi! Under Blood Moon, will Urza’s Saga enter with a lore counters? I think so because rule 714.3a doesn’t define it as an intrinsic ability (it’s more like a rule of the game), and therefore it can’t be removed by Blood Moon’s effect.
Am I getting this right? Thanks!

@Dunkatog Hello!
If I control Dress Down and I cast Overlord of Balemurk using its impending ability, will it enter with time counters or not?
Thanks!

@Dunkatog Hi!
CR 611.2b has been updated with "and doesn’t begin again during that spell or ability’s resolution".
Could you make me an example about it please? I'm having problems in understanding when/how that sentence applies.
Thanks!

@iwrites @CoffeeAtom @themtginsider @mtgcommander I understand your point of view, but the banlist helps to have fair matches when playing outside our LGS or kitchen table. If I’m attending to an event or to a different LGS, that banlist allows me to play with new friends with less problems of balance among our decks.

@JackLayers @CoffeeAtom @themtginsider @mtgcommander "If people don’t like it, they can use the rule zero or create their own format," Couldn't that be said for ANY card? It feels easier to Rule 0 power levels instead of saying "this is the way you're going to play," which takes away the self-expression part of the game. (imo)

Our Recommendation to the @mtgcommander rules committee after today's banning:
There are massive financial implications for players who spent time and money saving or trading for Commander chase rares. Today's ban, whether good or bad for the format, has had serious impacts on players' wallets.
This ban comes just a year after MTG marketed Jeweled Lotus as the premier chase rare of Commander Masters
Not only that, Mana Crypt was a chase showcase rare of Ixalan only a year ago, with multiple versions and treatments that were highly collectible.
Today, tens of thousands of MTG players, and LGS, woke up to find their chase rare cards have lost 50-75% of its value. There was no warning that this banning was imminent. Players were buying Jeweled Lotus at full price only a week ago, without the chance to ever play them. Now, the card does literally nothing.
We are reading stories of MTG players devastated that their collections have lost a massive amount of value.
Ouch, imagine you were the above player?
MTG players deserve more communication prior to bans of this level of financial impact. These bans should not come as a surprise.
My recommendation to the Commander Rules Committee is as follows:
1. Given that the Rules Committee has stated that these bans are not snap decisions, and are given plenty of time for due process, players should be informed ahead of time when a card is subject to ban discussion. This gives players a chance to rethink their $100 purchases of cards that could be banned soon. It also notifies all players at the same time that a card is under ban consideration. The period between when a card is up for "ban discussion" and then "banned" shouldn't be where the MTG community is in the dark, and potentially blowing money on things like Commander Masters Collector boxes or Neon Foil Ink Mana Crypts a week before they are banned.
2. During the above period, players should have time to submit input on why or why not they would like a card banned. Don't limit the majority of a decision to a handful of select people. The MTG Commander community is wide and diverse, and more people should be given the chance to input, especially when they are investing their time and money into the cards that may get banned.
3. We need a restated set of guidelines or expectations around what else could be banned. Are tutors safe from bans? Are fast mana lands like Gaea's Cradle or Ancient Tomb safe from bans? Why should a player today go out and buy an expensive powerful card, if it could be banned out of the blue?
Today's decision to ban premier chase cards may have been discussed for years and were carefully thought out, but from the perspective of players who are buying and playing with these cards, it appears rash and thoughtless in consideration. Could Gaea's Cradle be banned tomorrow? Who knows? At least a more careful and transparant process can bring greater confidence to players. The reaction from the MTG community today is clear that something more is needed.

@JackLayers You may cast either half. The cost you will pay is the cost of the half you're casting minus 4. This is similar to giving a split card in your graveyard flashback. #WotCstaff

Shivam has a good explanation of Aminatou's static ability here, for those wondering. When the game checks to see if you can reveal a card with miracle, it sees a card that will have miracle in your hand, and goes "yep, looks like you're drawing a miracle to me!" #WotCstaff
Shivam, Advisor Emeritus@ghirapurigears
So lets talk about Aminatou for a second since i've seen folks with questions about that miracle ability. "Each enchantment card in your hand has miracle. Its miracle cost is equal to its mana cost reduced by {4}." But how does this work? don't you need to draw a miracle? (1/2)
English

@Dunkatog Hi! If Gift of Immortality has a finality counter on it and the creature it’s enchanting dies, will the aura come back from the exile attached to that creature?
Thanks!

@Dunkatog @WotC_Matt hi!
If I control a Sol Ring which is also a 7/7 dinosaur (thanks to Displaced Dinosaur) and then I clone it, will the clone be just a an artifact or a 7/7 Sol Ring creature?
CR 707.2 would suggest the latter.
Thanks!

@Dunkatog hi!
If my opponent kills the only creature I tapped to saddle Calamity, will its triggered ability able to use LKI to create a token that’s a copy of it?
Or choosing that creature is an impossible action?
Thanks!

@tobyelliott In this way, asking NAP when they want to apply the fix would become irrelevant. 4/4
English

@tobyelliott If NAP chooses where the cards will go before deciding when to apply the fix, AP will have additional information and will be able to choose how to resolve surveil knowing which card will replace the one on top of the deck. 3/X
English

@tobyelliott Hi Toby! Question about IPGs: AP, while resolving Surveil 1, notices that that very card should be in the sideboard. With the judge, they identify 4 sideboard cards left in the main deck and vice versa. 1/X
