Yo solo digo que si alguien hizo estos diseños, los aceptaron, los renderizaron y todo, fueron capaces de llevarlos al cine sin un ápice de vergüenza. Yo puedo ser diseñadora de personajes, aún tengo oportunidad

@mike24613498 @biggogribbs @yxn4rukam It is American culture, just black American culture. And black americans just didn’t have to systemic power to engage in culture imperialism in the same way Whites did. That’s a fact of reality and I’m definitely not being racist in pointing that out.
English

@JackMackjx @biggogribbs @yxn4rukam it’s american culture at the end of the day. and for you not to see that is pretty racist ngl. our empire sees no race
English

@mike24613498 @yxn4rukam Also you have no right to be smug and assume what I believe in because you clearly don’t understand what MY problem was with the tweet.
English

@JackMackjx @yxn4rukam for about a decade now. i get it because it doesn’t conform to the reality you have set yourself in. but at the end of the day black american culture is amercian culture. our empire isn’t just white dominated like right wing nut jobs want you to believe.
English

@JackMackjx @yxn4rukam your putting things into it, black american culture for the past 15 years or so has been the dominant american culture so country’s with a lot of american influence conform to the dominant american culture. black american culture has been instrumental to american soft power.
English

@biggogribbs @yxn4rukam Okay, first Korea isn’t even occupied by the U.S. it is fully sovereign. And second, what you described is cultural influence and globalization, not imposition. The original post’s “your culture” wording implied Black Americans had cultural imperial power, which it didn’t.
English

@JackMackjx @yxn4rukam But now black American culture is being imposed in Korea because it’s part of American pop culture
English

@biggogribbs @yxn4rukam That’s irrelevant to what I’m arguing my good friend.
English

@darkestchiildz It's not about "making" Koreans do anything, it's like the same as how Korean fried chicken was created bc of black American soldiers there. the influence spreads regardless of how people feel about it without being inherently theft
English

@elenitsunonini I think the original poster was onto something, they just fucked it up by implying that Black Americans were forcing their culture onto Korea during the Cold War, which was impossible.
