I get it, many of us are emotionally attached to @foundation. (Including myself) Whether it was where you minted your first piece as an artist or collected your first piece of art as a collector, those memories were special. But let’s be honest, Foundation moved on from the community long ago. The infrastructure is winding down and there’s no real comeback. We shouldn’t hold onto false hope for another acquisition. The core team doesn’t care who the platform is handed to. They are focusing on money, you can clearly see that from the recent Blackdove deal that just fell through. Right now, the first thing that actually matters is retrieving our NFTs. (check the first comment if you're having trouble with IPFS.) Stop pouring energy into something that no longer supports us. Let’s put our energy where it belongs: on ourselves and on platforms that actually support artists. There are way better places to build today and they deserve much more attention: @TransientLabs @manifoldxyz @artblocks_io @verse_works @silkarthouse @objktcom @SuperRare @fellowshiptrust @Ninfa_io @AOTMgallery @opensea @dropdotart @8NAP_ART and many more. And honestly, the best platform for any artist is still your own. Let’s stop looking backward and focus on the bigger picture. The future of on-chain art is being built within us. Let’s go create there.

Pixie Chess is for humans. For Pixie Chess to work, it needs to be ai-proof. I think before launch i was pretty arrogant that players couldn't use engines cuz the new pieces are overpowered & traditional engines can't calculate them. However, one thing we learned really quick was that didn't hold up in tournaments with lower piece requirements.. players chose to have less Pixie pieces & traditional engines became useful again. Rn we're increasing to piece requirement & adding in more novel pieces that make it really hard to calculate. We're also currently reviewing games & going to be adding in some anti-cheat. sooo.. what you see isn't engine encouragement -- it was just arrogance. But we're gonna be able to fix it.

as a chess enthusiast, i want to like @pixiechess. it is well designed, genuinely fun, and has interesting ownership dynamics but seeing the founder @joshqharris encourage people to use AI and build tools to gain an edge, and even boost someone doing it, changes how i am looking at it who is this designed for, humans or players using AI and tools to compete? because those are two very different kinds of games
