Has he proved that or did he not even need to stay to win the IGC, He didn't extend from the last, finishing speed of 102% and steady early fractions, race kind of fell into his lap. 3m 2f at a proper pace, I wouldn't fancy him 👀

@JackOC2104 @RoadCheltenham @nickluck Aye, that was the thought at the time he was scratched. But now there’s new evidence. We know he stays 3 miles very well on very soft ground. Unproven over further, but we’re talking about the Gold Cup… the pinnacle of racing. I’d be shocked if they don’t have a go.

@BenRead37577737 @RoadCheltenham @nickluck Completely different, Inothewayurthinkin was being aimed at a National so there wasn't any stamina doubts and he was put back in when the race was falling apart to take his chance. Fact to File was taken out because they flat out thought he wasn't a Gold Cup horse

The Irish gold cup fell apart and he didn't really put any distance between himself and GW from the back of the last home despite GW running keen. Took him out the first time for a reason! Can't see him staying in a properly ran GC
