This thread is essential reading. Great job Chad for writing it in such a concise manner.

“The Chad Steingraber Theory” – The Road to a $20K #XRP A Thread🧵 from The Future (UPDATED) It’s been a year and a half since I wrote this original thread and A LOT has happened, including some parts of this theory. Grab a drink, grab a snack and let’s take a ride, shall we?

TRUMP–XI SUMMIT DOWNSIZED AS EXPECTATIONS FALL The Trump–Xi meeting in Beijing is now expected to be a limited, low-impact summit focused on maintaining stability rather than major deals. Key topics include trade, Iran, and fentanyl, but analysts say the U.S. has little leverage and Beijing is offering no clear agenda or concessions. Instead of a “grand bargain,” the talks are likely to yield only modest steps like extending existing trade truces and maintaining limited sector cooperation. Experts say shifting geopolitical conditions have strengthened China’s position, making meaningful breakthroughs unlikely.

This is what i'm seeing here 🤔 If $XRP does secure a confirmed breakout on the daily here, the weekly still tells us to respect the current trend with heavy macro resistance above. Looking at this chart, there is a strong possibility that this is just a countertrend rally into EMA resistance. Hear me out 👇 For example, the weekly 20/50 EMA's on this chart were both lost and confirmed as resistance in Jan 2026, creating a deathcross. That deathcross is what opened the last drop from $2.40 to $1.11, and we are witnessing the exact same rally back into these EMA's as we did back then. Ideally, no macro bullish reversal is confirmed until BOTH of these EMA's are reclaimed as support. Can they be reclaimed? Sure. For now, we remain below and must respect such. This is why I speak on a $1.80 point of contact before a deeper drop towards $0.90/$0.70. Overall, the only way to invalidate such a scenario is by reclaiming these EMA's. Weekly 20 EMA = $1.58 🎯 Weekly 50 EMA = $1.85 🎯 We can enjoy the small rises, but don't get lost in the sauce until we see macro confirmation! It's never a bad thing to be open-minded! #NFA

A "sustained" break above the $1.45–$1.50 resistance zone with consistent candle closes would likely open the path for $XRP toward $1.60/80. Additionally, securing a weekly candle close above $1.47 tonight would mark the highest weekly close in over three months ⏰️

[🧵] What positively differentiates XRP and the XRP Ledger to all other networks? Let's write a list! 🙂 1) The XRP LCP (the consensus protocol) It's one of the only algorithms out there that doesn't bind its security to the price of XRP. The XRP network is exactly as secure at $1/XRP as it is at $589/XRP. That's crucial because no entity will ever be able to reduce the networks security by artifically dumping the price. It is also extremely unreasonable to form a cartell as no validator operator has any artifical incentive to validate any transaction on the XRP Ledger as there is no financial reason to outdo another validator just to gain an advantage. This would change the moment validator operators would earn protocol fees, which are currently burned, as they should. Naturally, all validators gravitate towards one (natural) goal: Making forward progress without any form of censorship. 2) Fixed-function network (No general Smart Contracts) All programmability that exists on the XRP Ledger is what it already offers via so-called native primitives. Although the obvious drawback is the lack of flexibility and the lack of "permissionless general programmability," the obvious advantage is the fact that the XRP Ledger remains performant and predictable at all times while keeping fees low. What does it mean for security? New features that enact on XRPL need to be secure and safe. Since we are all naturally aligned in our incentives by sharing the same protocol, there is no reason for anyone to bet against the XRPL as long as you are part of the XRP ecosystem. Doesn't matter if you're a holder or a developer or a business. A new feature affects us all, which aligns us all to only ever enact a new feature if it gets rigorously tested first. Not so much with smart contracts, since participants in siloed liquidity venues have no real incentive to "help" the competition to be more secure. For the XRP Ledger, it boils down to: - What you see is what you get. In case you want more? Off-chain is the answer. For this, things that weren't possible back in the day are getting more and more plausible, namely intents and L2s via ZK-SNARKs. So off-chain compute. 3) Deterministic finality (+ Canonical Transaction Ordering) Sounds complicated, but what it simply means is that whenever a block gets validated and finalized, it's actually final. Buying a coffee and seeing the confirmation truly means the coffee got bought, the payer sent the money, and the payee received the money. Also, one cool side effect with the canonical ordering of transactions is that the order cannot easily be manipulated, as no validator competes with another validator just for the sake of transaction ordering. So no fee-based ordering, which would be a form of censorship. 4) Native Payment Engine on the XRP Ledger The XRP Ledger uses a subsystem that is responsible for all value transfer. It always favors the user and routes trades so that prices are as efficient as possible. For this it unifies every value-based feature on the XRP Ledger so that really complex cross-currency payments are made possible. This is also why the XRPL DEX is not just an AMM or just a CLOB but actually both at the same time. They work in tandem. 5) Autobridging (XRP) Part of the payment engine is also the autobridging mechanism. The reason why this is so cool is because the XRP network will always try to automagically trade an offer through XRP first whenever that would mean a better price for the user. The natural side effect of this is that on the XRP Ledger, every asset can be made liquid to any other asset as long as both assets are at least liquid to XRP. 6) Everything else 😉 - Community - High liquidity depth across trading venues - Low fees - Fast and reliable transaction settlement - Easy to build on (API-based) - Bridging possible via Axelar + Squid - Negative UNL to improve network resilience (liveness) - Lindy Effect (runs like butter since 2012) - New powerful XRPLF - Ripple's escrow for XRP distribution vs. mining I've probably left a lot out, but that should be enough. 🙂✌️

$XRP has only ever bottomed on the lower regression band of the Gaussian Channel, which is still yet to have a POC within this correction. Confluence with CK's Monthly Ribbons.

TrustLinq + Ripple Payments "A second consequence of adding Ripple Payments to the stack is that TrustLinq now chooses the best rail for each individual payment based on destination, currency, speed, and cost, rather than being constrained to whichever rail happens to cover that corridor. A payment to Germany may settle through SEPA. A payment to a less-served market may now settle through Ripple’s infrastructure. The user does not see the routing decision; they see a settled payment in the recipient’s currency. The infrastructure decision happens in the background. The Ripple Payments addition is most consequential for users with cross-border payout patterns into corridors that were previously underserved or unreliable. Treasury teams holding stablecoin balances can now settle obligations into a wider range of jurisdictions without opening additional banking relationships in those markets. Platforms paying contractors or suppliers in 30 or 40 countries no longer need 30 or 40 banking integrations to maintain coverage. Operators in markets where local banks refuse to onboard digital asset companies can settle through TrustLinq into recipients’ accounts in their own currency, without requiring local crypto-friendly banking infrastructure to exist at all. For users in well-banked corridors, the integration changes less day-to-day, but adds resilience. The payment that previously settled through SEPA in two hours still settles through SEPA in two hours. What changes is what happens when SEPA is not the right rail. The integration changes the infrastructure behind the scenes, not the product experience. TrustLinq remains a Swiss-regulated payment service, operating under SO-FIT within the FINMA framework under license number: 1531. It remains non-custodial throughout, meaning client funds are never held by TrustLinq. It remains available to both personal and business users. The supported stablecoins remain USDT, USDC, and EURC, on Ethereum and Tron. Pricing structure, settlement times for existing corridors, and account flows are unchanged. Existing TrustLinq users do not need to take any action. The expanded corridor reach is available immediately as part of standard service. XRP
