By far the worst part of Baylor's situation is that every one of their best players are leaving. Every single receiving yard from today is gone next year.
This was a culmination roster. It is very realistic they miss a bowl. Then they're starting from scratch next year.

If you run it back next season, what is there to build off? No Sawyer, no Trigg, no Cameron, etc. Freshmen and some portal guys aren't drastically changing the overall direction unless Baylor has their own version of Cody Campbell & Co. waiting in the wings.
