People continue to underestimate what USC and LA have to offer. USC is not outbidding everyone, they are simply on the same NIL playing field as the big players (they were not 2 years ago).
Competitive offers = brand, location, tradition, & vision taking them over the top ✌️

I think Miami is the far more likely bet, but if this were Oregon... I don't see how they don't win a title in the next 5 years. To bring back that many starters and then offer a single player 10 million means no one can spend with you.

USC is somewhere in-between the 15th and 5th best team in the country this year... However, Oregon is either the best or 2nd best, and they have better players at most positions. This whole narrative that USC is the superior program right now just isn't correct.

@CNielocxc @ntantar @CFBwSam That’s why I said use it for depth. Not to build out a starting lineup. Also, Oregon’s hit rate in the portal has been good. Gonzo, Nix, Bucky, Gabriel, tez, bear, Harmon, Caldwell, Whittington, thieneman, Khyree, etc.

As far as the Recruiting rankings averages - there is something to be said about depth and the level of competition that comes with it.

@USCTrojansFTFO @CNielocxc @CFBwSam No it’s not lol. It literally outlines the quality of the class top to bottom. If it’s low, means your class wasn’t very good. Not rocket science. Maybe they would have, but both can be quality classes. Just because usc recruits well doesn’t mean Oregon is recruiting poorly.
