Looks like Lucas Mari is entering the transfer portal. O/U on Catamounts remaining for 2026-27 is probably 2.5. Sad times.

A Lamborghini?! A little much no? He’s played 3 yrs of college ball now and I’m pretty sure he would have proven his worth in practice or games by now. UVM hasn’t really let any players get away that went on to do anything meaningful at any other school or level. This may be the first yr that changes. It’s not good to hear that locker room problems may be the reason. Hopefully they can build a team around Gus who everyone seems to love….

@vermontballnews @CatamountCntry @nychogr I was glad to see him look ok in the scrimmage. I was there. Would've liked to see him look good in an actual game. I've seen guys butt heads with Becker then figure it out. UVM is one of dozens of programs with high turnover. Becker has coached every one of his teams hard.
