So the girls academy just added a club that is brand new. Zero players yet. Zero teams. Someone explain this to me like I’m 5.

The ECNL + ECNL RL continues to set the standard as the leading pathway for college soccer recruits 📈 With a 27% increase in college scout attendance, ECNL + RL are where opportunities are growing—while platforms like Girls Academy League (GA) are seeing a decline.

@JacobBrownDOC If only there was an organization in this Country that would sort all this out into a proper developmental pyramid…

⚽️ ECNL vs GA ⚽️ By now there is no argument. ECNL is a better platform than GA. Since the ECNL platform is stronger, their ECNL-RL platform is starting to out perform the GA. You’re starting to see a lot of ECNL-RL teams with a lot more college commitments than GA teams. ECNL has won, and their RL platform is starting to take a second place seat above GA in the race for college soccer commitments. If you’re a GA club, beg whoever you need to and try to enter your club in the ECNL or get left behind. Thank you @susa_academy for the stats. @ECNLgirls @GAcademyLeague #CSTruth

Youth Coaches 🙏 For the love of any God you choose, trash the poles, bars, hoops and ladders. Cones are not defenders. ▪️ All under the painful pretense of “technical training.” Please, begging you to stop for the sake of our children. #TOVO #intelligentfootball

James Trafford's triple save from this angle is absolutely nuts.

Same age. Same club. One player touches the ball 5000 times per week. The other touches it 500. By 14, the gap is too big to close.

I truly don’t even know how people still believe 9/11 wasn’t an inside job… LITERALLY everything points to it being an inside job by the CIA and Mossad so we could invade and go to war. If you really believe 9/11 was a middle eastern terrorist group, you might be sub 50 IQ.
barney@barneyxbt

most people have no idea osama bin laden denied any involvement in 9/11, condemned the attacks and accused israel of staging them… 25 years later it’s all starting to make sense…

For anyone who consistently uses a TOVO style methodology (rondos, positional games & training games), have you ever found players get bored from the repetitiveness?

@coachryanjones @Hutton_Sharp @TexasCoachMike I view tovo as an idea. How I want to train. How I want to use principles. And I use it to help my perspective. But ultimately my game model as a mix of it with all the other similar things like it. All JDP

@Hutton_Sharp @JacobBrownDOC @TexasCoachMike Thanks to both of you for sharing. It's clear that despite leaning into TOVO methodologies, you're not just running 4v2 > 4v4+3 > Game every week with your practices. I think the only thing I would add is Flying Changes & it's variations.

@coachryanjones @Hutton_Sharp @TexasCoachMike As far as attitude. It’s adding in mini competitions. Fun ice breakers , such as making a letter in the grass with your bodies. Being enthusiastic. High pace means more fun imo. The more lag time. The less fun

@coachryanjones @Hutton_Sharp @TexasCoachMike For the younger ages. My rondos may repeat. I do 2v2+2 all the time. But the kids love it. And it’s rly just taking a page out of any other methodology or as simple as focusing on different principles. Last night I worked on driving into the space.
