@JWonCATCHING It’s a bad brand of catching that’s not beneficial. Slight movements in the glove and elbow are much more effective and less annoying to umpires. Especially at the collegiate and high school levels. Watching catchers move their gloves 6-10 inches after a pitch is silly.

Quick lateral move by Cubs Reese McGUIRE to get the pitch off the edge & out of the buffer zone towards the umpire’s visual tunnel.

More High School players should be looking at NAIA Baseball, extremely good baseball, they also give good scholarship money. I have lots of friends that are NAIA Coaches and they are top notch! #NAIABaseball

Last night we honored former Ryan High School head baseball coach Don Kraft, and former Ryan High School baseball players before our game vs Concordia!

@CoachSwit Legion baseball does this. Even with our “tournaments” you only play one double header a week. But you’re playing 5-6 games a week over 4-5 days.

I wish there was a better way than playing tournaments every weekend over the summer. Tournaments do bring some very good competition, but the wear & tear on the body playing 5-6 games in 2-3 days is not good! Playing one game a day for 4-5 days is a way better model. Ideas?
