So let me get this straight... A new Tesla can effectively drive itself anywhere in North America (supervised), something no other company here is even CLOSE to rivaling right now... But that's not noteworthy? In fact, you regularly discredit FSD. But BYD shows... whatever THIS is, and you're suddenly in awe of how great the company is. Overall this is a positive post... @Tesla_ai You have a technology that will save lives. But people will not use for the little things you are pushing - mandatory disengagement reason requests, removing max speed control, etc. Clean up the little things and give the user a little more control while they are responsible for the vehicle.

All these companies are making killer profits. Same as home builders. Builders in my area will drop their prices $30k if they aren’t selling. Guess what they are still making a profit. Yes I get consumers are slowing down they don’t want to spend $40 at McDonald’s but if prices get low enough they will lol

McDonald’s says customers are “pulling back.” Same with Wendy’s. Same with Burger King. When fast food loses traffic, it’s a stress signal. People are tapped out.

I spent a little over $60k for my Tesla Model Y Performance. I know I’m going to get killed on depreciation but! The Mercedes I had cost me $25k in 5 years for maintenance (AMG), plus the depreciation of the car, ending up costing me $45k. I’d rather lose my money on depreciation rather than maintenance. Now let’s factor in that I was putting ethanol-free 91 fuel in my car, which right now would cost me $280 a month (I drive 1,500 miles a month) versus my Tesla that costs me $30 a month. The moral of the story… buy the @Tesla.
