Little tip, on the bigger stuff we always write the torque, mark the fixing line of terminations, take a pic then attach it to the certificate. That way when we leave we are covered. Our name and signature will go into the panel upon completion of testing with a date stamp too 👍

@EquinoxElec That is an odd one, I had a three phase board explode in my phase the other day. Any physical pressure on the board shorted all three phases. No day is the same in this trade 😂

@Jacob_Kelly2002 Yea, I couldn’t test the heater directly as it is controlled by a Lightwave switch but it went with a bang when I switched it on so I’m guessing short circuit! I rarely deal with 3phase and this is the only installation I’ve ever done. No past experience to draw on sadly lol

Looking for some thoughts from the 3 phase regular guys. I only deal occasionally. Installation I wired just over a year ago. 16A radial serving an 2kw electric heater suffered a short circuit. Weird thing is, it took out another 4 rcbo’s when it popped. Anyone any ideas? 🤔

@EquinoxElec Odd one that, I was thinking possibly the EMF from one tripping could trigger the others, only if it’s a leakage trip tho I’d assume

@Jacob_Kelly2002 I tested the redial in question…it gave clear ins res (obviously the electric rad has the issue) The infestation is only just one over a year old. All tested out fine then. All re-energised fine today too. Second time various rcbos have gone for one circuit 🤔
