It’s a negative casting using a rubber-like product called “alginate” (commonly used in dentistry for dental moulds). It flashes (firms) after about 5 minutes and is easily removed. Once firm, a plaster mixture is poured inside the alginate negative to create a solid positive casting that can be used to create masks or other facial prosthetics.

@HustleBitch_ Five Guys is overpriced greasy bland garbage. If he wanted to make a difference, he should improve quality, or shut down all locations.

🚨 FIVE GUYS CEO ADMITS HE PAID $1.5 MILLION TO EMPLOYEES… SO NO ONE WOULD ASSASSINATE HIM Five Guys ran a simple BOGO deal for their 40th anniversary… and it triggered a nationwide meltdown: • App crashed instantly • Stores flooded beyond capacity • Lines wrapped around city blocks • Food ran out mid-shift • Employees completely overwhelmed Some locations shut it down early just to survive. Backlash exploded. So CEO Jerry Murrell stepped in and gave $1.5 MILLION in bonuses across 1,500 stores. Not because it worked. Because it didn’t. Then he said it: “I didn’t want anybody shooting me in the back… because we really screwed it up.” Read that again. A fast food CEO talking about getting shot… over a burger promotion. And this isn’t random. This comes after UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was gunned down in Manhattan with Luigi Mangione now facing charges. Now connect that. Corporate failure → worker pressure → public backlash → executives talking about violence. The strangest part? They STILL reran the promotion days later. So if something this small can spiral this fast… what does that say about how fragile things are right now?

@EarthBrah I tried a “Chinese auction” once selling cars, a guy offered $2,500 below our ask, so I quoted him $2,500 above our ask. He said “but that’s $5,000 more than I offered”, and I told him “Correct, so let’s meet in the middle. You can get the selling price or the haggling price.”

@9mmsmg The Russian word for “man” sounds very similar to “machine”, so the entire story is likely based on a misunderstanding.

I watched Netflix War Machine having no clue what the movie was about. All I knew was that Alan Ritchson was in it, so I gave it a shot. Little did I know the movie was actually about a giant war machine. 😅 First, I need to put this out there. When I saw the machine, all I could think about was Metal Gear. If there is ever a Metal Gear movie, I want it to be as terrifyingly beautiful as this thing here. Until we get a Metal Gear movie, I’m just going to say this was one. Now the movie itself, I enjoyed it a whole lot. I’ve seen people say many things about it, like it was pointless or too predictable. For me, it felt like those 90s action movie days like Predator, RoboCop, and Rambo, where you didn’t really have to think too much. You just sit back and enjoy the sparks flying. Yes, it did have its cons when it came to the other characters and their development. I honestly can’t remember most of them except for the one on the stretcher the whole movie. And the way they ended it kind of gives false hope once you’ve seen the third act. Is it the best sci-fi movie on Netflix? No. Is it an enjoyable one? I’d say hell yes.

They better figure out a way to bring back Wash. It'll be sad enough without Shepherd Book. And go find Jayne!

A customer just called me. I got underbid by $1000 on a job. He sent me the actual quote via email. Customer: Hey man look I know you can’t come down the full $1000 but I want to do business with you. Can you come down any? I try not to negotiate on my price anymore. But this is going to be a pretty easy job and the customer seemed pretty cool. We met in the middle and I came down $500. My advice to customers is if you want a better deal don’t be afraid to ask but don’t be upset if a business owner is firm on their prices. One day I may get to the point that I don’t negotiate at all. I’m still a very new business and frankly my pricing isn’t always dialed in. I’m not going to beat everyone’s pricing because I’m not trying to give minimum price quality but I can occasionally be flexible if the customer is nice and seems like a quality person.

My price was 24% more than my competitor. I don’t have an issue with someone asking if I can negotiate. Especially when he wanted to do business with me because I’m a vet. I’m not gods gift to tree removal. No major reason to pick me over the other guys other than English was my first language and I needed something better to do in my 20’s than be a frat boy.

@makipilled Because Tony’s voting base consists largely of older folks who are not tuned into the counter-culture and tend to favor incumbents (the status-quo). The sort of folks who probably fear any kind of change due to the uncertainty it may bring.

HOW did Tony get 22k votes after everything that has come to light? Voters can be so insanely stupid. Vote for the incumbent because you have no idea who tf your candidates are. And now they have to go to a runoff election, hopefully Tony does not win.

I’m seeing this posted all over and as far as I can verify it’s authentic but I want to clarify some things. Right now Iran is getting hit 10x this hard. Every new leader they promote is gone in hours. There is probably a large amount of video that hasn’t made it out of the country yet. Also you notice no system is trying to shoot these down? It’s probably not a protected asset. Meaning this is not a high priority target. (It’s immoral) but this is most likely just civilian homes not anything that will affect Israel’s ability to conduct combat operations.

@McDonalds The quality of the “food” you sell has gotten embarrassingly low. I don’t eat McDonald’s, but kids do—surely you can do better.
JM🇺🇸@Jacob_Marshall_

@RedWaveCrewHP It’s a bit of a tantrum, but kids lack the capacity to sufficiently articulate their thoughts, so emotion fills the gaps. He’s got a valid point.
