عبدالحفیظ منصور، عضو شورای رهبری جبهه مقاومت، میگوید مسأله خط دیورند از دید این جبهه «حل شده» است. او گفته جبهه مقاومت اخیراً انسجام مقاومت شامل شش ولایت را ایجاد کرده و در نشست روسای ولایتی، موضوع خط دیورند بهعنوان مرز رسمی افغانستان و پاکستان بررسی شده است. آقای منصور تأکید کرده این جبهه در برابر «تمامیتخواهی» میایستد. جبهه مقاومت تاکنون بهگونه رسمی چیزی نگفته است.

Tragically, in today’s hyper-ethnic generation, Zahir Shah is ignored by all sides.

Daoud then followed his father’s counsel and began conspiring against the king. He later aligned himself with communist factions, building support to depose the monarch.
