@aveejeff @feltnerm @smwc A5 reply I worry that many parents or guardians may not be tech savvy, making it difficult to prepare from home. In my personal experience, many more students are being raised by grandparents, who a lot of times aren’t as up to date with technology.

@feltnerm @smwc A8 Kahoot! as it allows me to engage the class. It sets a goal, it challenges the students, and it will show them the correct response so they can learn if they make a mistake. Also the way you can apply team challenges makes the tool flexible and fun for all. #SMWCED115

@feltnerm @IXLLearning @smwc A6 I still really love the problem solving attributes of 12 as it has the user decide order of operations as an intro to higher math. Between that and what I have discovered as an interactive quiz game that you as the educator can design on Kahoot! #SMWCED115

@cooter883 @feltnerm @smwc Agreed! Kids these days have no idea how to survive without technology. My son included! If I let him, he would spend every waking moment on some kind of electronic device.

@feltnerm @smwc A5 I would offer a parent technology night at the beginning of the year, as well as send an information sheet home with the students for the parents who can’t attend. Also, I think Schoology is a great resource to keep parents in the loop. #SMWCED115

@feltnerm @smwc A4 I think summer workshops would help tremendously. As well as group discussions at our weekly department meetings. Also, assigning a tech savvy leader to each department who could help when there’s a snafu would be great. #SMWCED115
