@TK_HelpDesk Delays are a normal part of travel. Lack of empathy, help and basic customer service on the other hand is not. I hope my concern is well received and mitigates some form of change.

@jad2thebone Hello, delays are avoided whenever possible, and we always work for an on-time departure. Alternative flight options are available in the field in these types of cases. Your parents may consult our agents at the airport. They'll be happy to assist them. ^Arda

@TurkishAirlines has to be the single worst airline I’ve ever flown with. My parents, due to a delay in the first leg of their trip to spain missed their connecting flight in Istanbul. From the moment they got in the plane, they informed the flight attendants of the situation.

At the end, they made it seem like they were doing my parents a favor by giving them an alternative date instead of apologizing for the hassle they put them through. Will definitely not be traveling @TurkishAirlines ever again and I discourage anybody from flying with them

After several rounds, the desk agent informed them they would have to pay to switch their flight by policy and there was nothing he could do. After escalating, and shuffling to another agent my parents were offered a flight the next day. No coverage of expenses, no hotel. Nothing

They were refused entrance into the plane and told to go to customer services for an alternative flight 6 hours later. At the desk, they were kept waiting for 2 hours, shuffled between several different employees, at the end to blame my parents for not making the flight.

They received absolutely no help or compassion from the attendants. They exited the plane and asked the airport staff to help them transfer smoothly, only to be told to go to the wrong gate, with 0 help in arranging a transfer. They ran and reached 2 minutes beforethe gate closed
