I made one of my toughest decisions ever recently. A great man got me a box seat at the Puskas Arena for the UCL final. Came with flight tickets and accommodation. Bless his heart Lord. Then @mrbayoa1 and @oegbe were going to make things even easier. Planned the entire thing with going for the parade in London. In the end though, I have chosen to be with my brother for his turbaning ceremony up North. A bloody Chelsea fan for that matter. Lol. I am still pained. Mr Bayo has been more pained too. But it's the right decision.

I don’t know if this happens in every hotel.. But why do some of them sleep on the floor ? You go go hotel see workers dey sleep under step.. Just a piece of cloth on bare floor Why can’t the owners just make out space in one big room for staff to be sleeping or something ?

omo una no dey tire? una no dey share update like this oh once e reach woman matter like this, mouth go open wahhhhh ahhhhh, una dey craze.
Mr Sergio@samson_samsen

You want to know something society never told you about women? You are either her ex' upgrade or a placeholder for her next upgrade. It is not necessarily out of love that a woman stays with you - if she stays. It is often because: (i) you are her best available option in that moment, (ii) she either lacks or has lost the pull for your possible upgrades, or (iii) she is simply not exposed to enough alternatives that outperform you. In other words, a woman is with you because, within the environment available to her, you are the most favourable option she can access. And for many men, what they call “loyalty” is often just limited exposure. Also she's with you because You are "lucky" enough that, by environment, circumstance, or even her lack of interest in social media, she is unable to consistently encounter men who significantly outperform you in the areas she values. Such men exist and she's open to the idea of betraying your love for them. Because as long as you exist merely as an option to a woman, you are dispensable. And as long as your woman is constantly exposed to alternatives, departure becomes more possible than you imagine. This is why the signs should already concern you if your girlfriend is constantly performing on social media through curated pictures and endless public display. That is a larger market she is presenting herself to. A wider world of comparison, and possible upgrades. And realistically, you cannot outperform every option in an infinite marketplace. Exposure changes perception. This is why the sweet, loving girlfriend suddenly changes after gaining admission into university. Affection drops. Calls reduce. Because her environment expanded and with it came new comparisons, new standards. It is why attitudes change after a new job, a relocation, sudden fame, social ascension, or increased visibility. Options alter attachment. It is also why celebrity marriages rarely last. Both parties exist in environments saturated with alternatives, where hundreds of people constantly present the possibility of a “better” partner - more attractive, richer, more influential, more exciting, more useful, more admired. Excess exposure to options is the enemy of sacred things like commitment, contentment, and relational permanence. Because human beings are naturally greedy creatures. Most people are not truly content; they are merely limited by access. And once access expands, desire expands with it. And women, being naturally hypergamous, often exhibit an even stronger responsiveness to perceived upgrades in status, lifestyle, competence, influence, or provision. So Many relationships are not held together by love as much as they are held together by limitation. Your girlfriend’s longevity with you may not necessarily be proof of deep devotion. Sometimes it is simply proof that she has not yet encountered what she perceives to be a reasonable replacement of you. If... Scratch that.. When she does, she will leave you without batting an eyelid. I have said enough.

Dear football, Today, I want to share with you that this season will be my last as a professional footballer. After so many years living my dream, I feel it’s time to start a new chapter in my life. Being honest, even though I have been preparing myself for this moment, I found it hard to write this letter. After 20 seasons , many people have played an important role in my career. When I first kicked a ball as a child in Pamplona with my schoolmates, I never imagined the amazing journey ahead. I’m grateful for every moment: the wins, the tough losses, the challenges, and most of all, the people I’ve met and the friendships I’ve made along the way. To my teammates, coaches, and every staff member at all the clubs I’ve been lucky to be part of, thank you for helping me grow as a person and a player every day. Wearing the shirts of CA Osasuna, Olympique Marseille, Chelsea FC, Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla FC, and representing my country at the biggest stages has been a true privilege. Every moment has meant so much to me…

…….To the fans: your passion and support inspired me to give my best every day. Your belief in me, especially during tough times, made the good moments even better. I hope you saw a player who always gave everything for your colours, with pride and heart. To my family: you have always been by my side and cheered me on through hard times, your love and support mean everything to me. I hope you feel proud. I could not have achieved any of this without you on this journey. Football has given me so much: it has taught me values like teamwork, sacrifice, humility, and respect. It has granted me the opportunity to explore new countries, new cultures, and new languages. My heart is full of gratitude and memories I will carry with me into whatever comes next. With love, César

JUSTICE HAS BEEN SERVED ⚖️ Hon. Justice Abiola Soladoye of the Lagos State Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court, sitting in Ikeja, convicted and sentenced a school proprietor, Benson Arinze, to life imprisonment for sexually assaulting a six-year-old pupil. His name will be registered in the Sexual Offenders Register as maintained by Lagos State in line with Sections 33 and 38 of the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency Law, 2021. The judge delivered the judgement on Wednesday, 20 May 2026, after finding him guilty of a one-count charge bordering on Sexual Assault by Penetration. The survivor, whose identity has been withheld, was a pupil of Nurtured Brooks Nursery and Primary School, Ibeju-Lekki, owned by the convict. According to the prosecution, “Arinze took advantage of the period the child stayed behind after school to sexually assault her.” When the survivor’s mother noticed unusual behaviour from her daughter and questioned her about it, the child subsequently disclosed “the repeated sexual abuse she had been subjected to within the school premises.” The matter was thereafter reported to the Elemoro Police Station by the survivor's father. In her judgement, Hon. Justice Soladoye held that the evidence led by the prosecution established the guilt of the convict beyond a reasonable doubt. She further held that “the evidence adduced by the defence witnesses was merely self-serving and failed to discredit the case of the prosecution.” According to the prosecution, the offence committed contravened Section 261 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015, and consequently, the court sentenced Arinze to life imprisonment. Let’s continuously break the culture of silence ! NPF CONDEMNS THREATENING CONDUCT BY POLICE OFFICER IN VIRAL VIDEO, ORDERS IMMEDIATE DISCIPLINARY ACTION The Nigeria Police Force has taken cognisance of a viral video circulating on social media involving ASP Newton Isokpehi, in which the officer was seen making threatening remarks against members of the public filming police activities. The Force wishes to state unequivocally that the conduct and utterances exhibited in the video are unacceptable, unprofessional, and inconsistent with the ethics, standards, and code of conduct of the Nigeria Police Force. Such actions run contrary to the ongoing reform initiatives of the Force aimed at promoting transparency, accountability, professionalism, and citizen-focused policing. The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has consistently maintained that members of the public have the right to lawfully record police officers carrying out their duties, provided such recording does not obstruct operations, compromise safety, or interfere with lawful police activities. In line with this position, the officer involved has since been identified and summoned to the Anambra State Command Headquarters where immediate disciplinary procedures have commenced. The Nigeria Police Force does not tolerate threats, intimidation, abuse of office, or any conduct capable of undermining public trust and confidence in law enforcement institutions. The Force further reiterates that recording police activities remains a legitimate tool for public accountability and transparency and should not, in itself, attract harassment or intimidation from police personnel while discharging their duties. A formal statement detailing the outcome of the disciplinary measures taken against the officer will be communicated in due course. The Nigeria Police Force appreciates members of the public for their continued partnership and constructive engagement in promoting accountability, professionalism, and improved policing standards across the country. On the sidelines of the Education World Forum 2026 in London, I signed a landmark partnership with @coursera to launch the Digital Training Academy (DTA), a major initiative designed to equip Nigerian youths with globally competitive digital skills. Through this programme, young Nigerians will receive world class training in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Software Engineering and other high demand digital fields, while earning globally recognised certifications valued by employers across the world. In a landmark investment under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President @officialABAT, GCFR, the Federal Government has fully funded 36,000 licences across Coursera and @pluralsight in the first year alone ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent any Nigerian youth from accessing world class digital education. This is one of the largest government funded digital skills investments in Nigeria’s history. The programme will be implemented in partnership with the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), combining nationwide access with industry focused mentorship and support. Digital competency is no longer optional. It is foundational. We are building a generation of young Nigerians that can compete, lead and thrive in the global digital economy. My sincere appreciation to Coursera, NOUN and YABATECH for partnering with us to make this vision a reality.

FACT NOT FICTION ✅✅✅ Why Northern Vigilantes Bear Sophisticated Weapons While Amotekun Cannot. The Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) has publicly confirmed that it arms trained vigilantes and hybrid forces as part of Nigeria's counter-terrorism strategy. This is lawful under the Terrorism Prevention and Prohibition Act, 2022, and part of the National Counter-Terrorism Strategy (NACTEST). The same model was used successfully with the Civilian Joint Task Force in the North-East. These armed vigilantes are not independent militias. They are integrated with regular security forces, vetted by intelligence agencies, and operate under military oversight. Why the South-West can benefit from the same model. The Forest Guards initiative was launched by President Tinubu in May 2025 through ONSA. Over 7,000 Forest Guards have already graduated and been deployed across seven frontline states, including Borno, Sokoto, Niger, and Kwara. They are trained, armed, and deployed immediately indigenes of their communities leveraging terrain familiarity. Here is your solution for Amotekun to bear Sophisticated arms: The South-West Governors should either: ✅Convert Amotekun to the Forest Guard framework under ONSA, which automatically grants authority to bear sophisticated weapons; OR ✅ Amend the Amotekun law to formally accommodate Forest Guards with modern weapons under NSA oversight, as former Ondo Deputy Governor Agboola Ajayi has repeatedly urged. The legal path exists. The federal framework exists. The South-West simply needs to walk through the door. Ondo lawmaker Olatunji Ifabiyi has said it plainly: "They cannot continue to bear old weapons while fighting enemies with lethal weapons and AK-47; we should not deceive ourselves". The North has armed vigilantes because they followed the federal framework. The South-West can have Armed Amotekun/Forest Guards the exact same way by plugging into the existing ONSA-coordinated structure. STOP COMPLAINING. START IMPLEMENTING.
Moabayi@moabayi86676

@Pressman2040 Amotekun can’t bear sophisticated arms but northern vigilantes can, abi? E mura si. By the time Fulanis take full control of the land as they did with the Hausas your eyes will clear.

This is the kind of arrogance I love haha. He won the Saudi League with Al Hilal, he came to Al Nassr because of Ronaldo (Portuguese connection), and won the Saudi League with them, now he’s leaving on a high. No taint to his legacy. A very good manager Jorge Jesus. Read about what he did at Flamengo. That’s one of the biggest football stories. At Flamengo, fans cussed him, they were resistant towards him even before he arrived, said he was too old…but he shut them all up, by winning 5 trophies in a year for them, included the biggest, Copa Libertadores. Everywhere Jorge Jesus went, he won things. Benfica, Sporting, Fenerbache, name the club, he won things. He also knows when to leave when the ovation is at the highest.
Fabrizio Romano@FabrizioRomano

🚨 Jorge Jesus leaves Al Nassr head coach job after winning the Saudi Pro League title. “I came here to help Cristiano and this club to win, we did an incredible job all together… now for me it’s time to go”. 💛💙👋🏼

Until Nigeria declares war against corruption in education with the same seriousness we discuss politics every day, we will keep producing graduates who hold certificates but cannot build a nation. This is a national security issue. A country full of certificates and yet companies keep saying that they can’t find qualified people.

The Nigeria Police Force is aware of the viral video involving ASP Newton Isokpehi. Our response has been swift, decisive, and clear. The officer has been identified, and disciplinary procedures have commenced at the Anambra State Command. IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has taken further action. Alongside disciplinary proceedings, he has ordered a mental evaluation, medical assessment, and drug testing for ASP Isokpehi to ensure a thorough and transparent investigation. Accountability in this case involves both appropriate consequences and institutional understanding. We affirm that all Nigerians and officers have the right to lawfully record police officers performing their duties. This right is real, protected, and will be upheld by the Force. However, this right carries responsibilities. Recordings that obstruct operations, compromise officer safety, or endanger the public are not protected. There is a clear distinction between lawful accountability and interference with police duties. WHEN LAWFUL BOUNDARIES ARE RESPECTED BY ALL PARTIES, accountability and public safety can coexist effectively. ASP Isokpehi’s actions and comments were inappropriate, threatening, and unprofessional. He is therefore subject to disciplinary measures. The outcome of this disciplinary process will be made public. We are committed to ensuring transparency.
