2023 में 66,955 नौजवानों ने जान दी - पिछले 10 सालों में छात्र आत्महत्याएँ 65% बढ़ीं। मैंने इस महत्वपूर्ण और संवेदनशील मसले पर सरकार से सवाल किया। जवाब क्या मिला? सिर्फ झूठे बहाने, खुद की तारीफ़ें - जवाबदेही ज़ीरो। मैंने रोहित वेमुला जैसे होनहार छात्रों का भी ज़िक्र किया - जाति और आत्महत्या के बीच संबंध पर सवाल उठाया। लेकिन सरकार ने छात्र आत्महत्याओं के कारणों में जातिगत भेदभाव को मानने से ही इनकार कर दिया। मानसिक स्वास्थ्य पर खर्च पूछा - कोई जवाब नहीं। जातिगत भेदभाव के लिए संस्थागत जवाबदेही का कानून लाने का इरादा पूछा - इस पर भी कोई जवाब नहीं। जब सरकार समस्या को मानने को ही तैयार नहीं, तो समाधान कैसे निकलेगा? इनका तरीका यही है - आँखें मूंद लो, नज़रअंदाज़ करो, और सच को छुपाते रहो। यह सरकार हमारे नौजवानों की परवाह नहीं करती, और देश के भविष्य की रक्षा के लिए कोई योजना नहीं है। हमारे छात्रों को खामोशी नहीं - एक ऐसी सरकार चाहिए जो उनकी बात सुने और उनकी भलाई की परवाह करे। : LoP Shri Rahul Gandhi

शर्म आनी चाहिए ऐसी व्यवस्था को जहाँ एक मजदूर 15 साल काम करने के बाद भी दो वक्त की रोटी के लिए तरस रहा है। सिलेंडर मिल नहीं रहा, और जो मिल रहा है वो ₹400 किलो! ऊपर से चोरी और सीनाजोरी। ये सिर्फ महंगाई नहीं है, ये गरीबों के खिलाफ एक सोची-समझी साजिश है। क्या मजदूरों की जान इतनी सस्ती हो गई है?

यह सिर्फ एक अपराध नहीं, यह सत्ता की नाकामी का खुला सबूत है। भीड़ के बीच एक महिला की इज़्ज़त लूटी जाती रही, और सिस्टम 7 दिन तक खामोश रहा। क्या यही है “सुरक्षा” का दावा? आज अपराधियों के हौसले इसलिए बुलंद हैं क्योंकि उन्हें पता है, सरकार कमजोर है, जवाबदेही शून्य है। कानून का डर खत्म हो चुका है। हर ऐसी घटना @BJP4India सरकार की संवेदनहीनता और खोखले दावों को बेनकाब करती है। अब शब्द नहीं, कार्रवाई चाहिए। इस घिनौने अपराध के हर दोषी को तुरंत गिरफ्तार कर सख्त और मिसाल कायम करने वाली सजा दी जाए, तभी कानून का राज वापस आएगा।

As the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Sports and Youth Welfare, we have submitted a very specific proposal to consider adopting elements of the Chinese model. In China, talented children are identified as early as 8–9 years of age, and the system takes full responsibility for their development within integrated school environments, where education and sports training go hand in hand. Unfortunately, in India, while we have institutions like the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and Centres of Excellence, education is not integrated into these training systems. On 13th February 2025, my state, Manipur, and this House breathed a huge sigh of relief when President’s Rule was imposed. We truly hoped that peace would prevail in the state. However, on 4th February 2026, President’s Rule was revoked and a popular government was allowed to be formed. Earlier, the conflict was between the two communities. Today, the conflict is spreading further into the hills, now even among tribal communities themselves. Already, there have been 7–8 deaths. I urge the government to stop this conflict in the hills, or the responsibility will lie squarely with both the Union government and the state government.
