I’d be careful with this kind of argument. It prioritizes the buzz which is obviously a goal but it can’t come at the expense of core values. In the short term, the race was great for the spectacle. Long term, though, competition has to be fair to stay credible and drive fans in.

Final thought on today's MotoGP sprint: agree with the penalty or not, everyone is talking about MotoGP. Everyone is talking about how good that race was. Everyone is talking about how exciting 2026 is going to be. None of that is a bad thing whatsoever.
